The worst Cracker Barrel I've been to, ever! We walked in and were seated in a strange spot (no other customers in the room but us and one other table, we desired a little space). Asked to move to a different table and that's where it seemed to start with eye rolls and snotty attitudes. The music was loud and our waitress was hard to hear. The restaurant was out of salad dressing we wanted, disappointing but okay. Then when food arrived we were told that there were no biscuits, no baked apples, and they didn't cook the chicken pieces that were ordered. Then the waitress brought other tables the bread and we had to ask for ours. We waited for the correct chicken for an extra 15+ minutes. Our waitress gave back scratches and rubs to other customers (it's okay, I don't want one, but it would have been nice to have bread and a drink refills). The mashed potatoes had a dried layer on top as if they had been sitting under a lamp for an extended period, the waitress offered me another helping but I said no since I didn't want the same thing and they were out of the other things I would have wanted. Okra and chicken were overcooked. The best thing about the meal was the breaded fish fillets. Anytime we talked to the waitress she rolled her eyes and sighed with big attitude. After we told her about our problems she shrugged, sighed, rolled her eyes, and then never came back to check on us at all. This was literally the worst Cracker Barrel we have ever experienced. The managers were told about our experience, they (James and Brittany) took care of our bill and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Maybe we will try again if we come back...
Read moreThe service was extremely slow. The time it took for someone to greet us with menus was a little longer than expected but not a big deal. However once our drink and food order was taken thats wheb the ridiculous waiting periods begin. The servicer came out with our drinks (party of 2) about 10 minutes later. Silly me once the drinks came I asked for another drinks. I received that about 10 minuter. After sitting there for about 25 minutes after we had already ordered our food, I asked if we would be getting biscuits. (If you have never been to Cracker Barrel or any other restaurant where bread is served, the bread is brought out with the drinks) After another 15 minutes the food order came out WITH the biscuits. Maybe if the biscuits were brought out earlier with the drinks there’s a possibility I would not have noticed how long all of this was actually taking. I should mention that our food and biscuits weren’t given to us by our server. The biscuits were hot but the food wasn’t. It was warm at best. After waiting so long I dare not send it back. At this point our drinks needed refills but the server didn't come to check on us until about 20 minutes after we received our food. I asked for more biscuits and two refills. She looked puzzled but I didn’t know when we would see her again and I wasn’t taking any chances. After all we haven’t seen her in 35 minutes. Our glasses were empty when we received our food 20 minutes ago. This time she did come back in just a couple of minutes. This is by far the slowest service I’ve received at any Cracker Barrel....
Read moreThere was a 20 minute wait although there was several empty tables. When I received the text to get my table I had to wait an additional 20 minutes because the gas went off to the stove! Once seated we was seated the waitress comes to the table asking for our order drinks and food, we ordered drinks she was short one straw said she would be back, finally had to flag her down to get the extra straw. Our food showed up same time as the appetizer, my pork chops was missing gravy I ask for gravy she said she would be right back! We ate our food I ask for a Togo box and for my gravy to go as well, it was like we was a inconvenience we ask for biscuits and cornbread 3 times before finally being advised the person that makes the biscuits had walked out! There was a kid running in and out of the kitchen and slapping the waitresses on the but with a food tray. And to top it all of this the only way we got our drinks refilled was to ask for a Togo cup as we left. The manager was pacing back and forth in front of the fireplace on her phone paying absolutely no attention to anything going on! It was the worst and I mean worst service, food and staff!!! Do better! The only person in the entire restaurant that acted like she even cared was the...
