Former employee here. Hate to say it but this place has hit rock bottom. Used to be good when the young Mexican manager was there, but after he moved up the ladder, this place has been rapidly going down hill. Where do I even start? Firstly, I blame this all on corporate or the management up top.
There used to be females working the front counter and answering the phones. Now, management up top thought it was best to outsource the phone calls to some bad English Indian call center overseas. They did that so management in the stores can concentrate on the food and not get tied up answering the phone and taking orders over the phone. Problem is, management in the store now rarely answers the phone as they feel like they're not obligated to. That's why you have been calling the store for hours and no one ever picks up. Smh.
Secondly, new management is lazy and rarely cleans up around the store. There was a homeless lady that actually set up her tent behind the store next to the dumpsters and management did absolutely nothing about it. Smh. Code enforcement had to come there and tell the homeless lady that she had to move her tent. Code enforcement also told the manager that he needed to clean up outside the store else they would fine him. Smh.
Inside the store now is a mess. The dishes are beyond filthy. They think soaking dishes in soapy water, then dipping it in clean water and putting it up on the shelves, is washing dishes. Smh. If you ever seen the amount of left over food that remains in the supposed clean dishes, you'd scream. Lol. There is also one employee in particular who's extremely nasty. Let's just say, him and soap and water are not good friends. He does everything with his bare hands. Wash dishes, takes out the trash and even cooks the food and sticks his filthy hands all in the cheese and everything else. Beyond filthy. He made me actually stop eating at this place. Ridiculous. I told management about him several times, but whatever. They're too busy crunching numbers and try to squeeze an extra dollar out of every nook and cranny. If you care about your health, I'd pass on...
Read moreDisappointed by Recent Order at Papa John's (3400 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta)
My wife and I are long-time fans of Papa John's, particularly their Large Epic Stuffed Crust pizza with BBQ sauce and Papadia sides. We've consistently enjoyed the quality at the 3400 Buford Highway Northeast location in Atlanta.
However, our recent experience on May 17th, around 6:30 PM, fell far short of expectations. We ordered through the app and picked up the pizza ourselves. Unfortunately, upon opening the box, we were incredibly disappointed by the appearance of the pizza and Papadias. It was far from the usual Papa John's quality we've come to expect. We tried to eat it, but both the pizza and Papadias lacked the freshness and taste we usually enjoy.
This experience was a significant letdown, especially considering our past positive experiences at this location. We've noticed a decline in pizza quality recently, and this latest order was particularly disappointing. It seemed like there was a lack of attention to detail, which...
Read moreI visited your store recently and had no issues, but I noticed inconsistencies in your pricing policy for ranch dressing, with charges varying daily. Some days the charge is almost a dollar per ranch, while on other days it is not enforced.
During my visit, a young lady with locks assisted me at the register. I felt like she was somewhat impatient and may have lacked some basic knowledge about the transaction. It seemed she was trying to rush through the process without proper understanding. I also observed that she had difficulty counting change accurately.
Considering her role, I presumed she might be a manager or a team lead. However, her conduct during my interaction was disappointing. I suggest providing further training to enhance customer service and transaction skills for a seamless experience for all customers.
Overall, the inconsistent pricing and subpar customer service experience left me dissatisfied with my visit to your store. But I’ll be back, one bad apple won’t keep...
