Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Brookhaven

Terrible Sonic, probably takes the top spot for worst service ever received at a sonic! We are from California and have had sonic plenty of times in plenty of places. From big cities in CA, AZ, to smaller towns in Mississippi and Louisiana and Visa versa. Saying a lot when you leave California and receive worse service, anyway pulled in here for ice cream and some burgers, No ice cream, that no big deal stuff happens. Continue with food order, burger, French toast sticks and 3 pretzels and cheese. Food comes out after about 20 minutes. No cheese or syrup for those items. Press button and wait, after what felt like 10 mins we catch one of the employees coming out to deliver food to the car next to us. Tell her we are missing cheese for 3 pretzels and syrup for the French Toast. Wait 5 mins and she comes back with a bag, its 1 cheese and 4 ranches!? So still waiting on a answer from button now for at least 15 min we catch and entirely different girl delivering another order out on our side and tell her what is going on. She leaves and comes back after 5 min and brings 1 syrup. No cheese, about this time the server came on for the button I pressed 20 min earlier, I told her we needed Syrup and Cheese for the order we placed 20 mins ago, and 2 requests from different servers we happen to catch. No response after I explained that, then they turned the order button off for me to restart trying to order again. We gave up and left and decided it wasn't worth trying to get it right anymore. Avoid this location at all costs. Just isn't worth the headache. Won't be back here again...

If only no stars were an option, Would only recommend if you have 30 minutes to wait to place your order, an additional 30 minutes to receive your order, and another 45 minutes to get them to come back to replace the order they got wrong, they’re quick to forget your receipt and even quicker to just blatantly not take down your order correctly. Due to the screens being busted it’s not like you can double check the order that they read back correctly but somehow place wrong. As far as employees go since when is it allowed to wear sweat pants and crocs without socks? Also while waiting forever for our orders you can plainly see employees dancing around listening to music which trust me I have absolutely no issue with if you can dance around and do your job, these people just lack that ability. It’s trash to push the red button and look up and see that as well as employees look at you with AirPods in obviously ignoring their job. I’m all for having a good time at your job but not at the expense of the customers coming to try and get food in a timely manner. Fastest name in the business slowest service in the whole town. If I were the owner I would stop by check in randomly so he can see why there’s so many 1 star reviews. Sorry if you work there and are offended if you do your job this isn’t aimed to you but to those who are offended good do a better job...

I have been going to this Sonic for years. Even though I don't live in the area anymore, I stop here anytime I am visiting my parents in the area and need a quick bite to eat. The service is always friendly, quick, and HOT!

If you're short on funds, try out the value menu. The chicken tender sandwich is always on point.

The drinks during Happy Hour are half off and always delicious. They will make your drink however you like it. If you usually order well drinks, try that drink out as a slush. For example, order a Sprite slush or a Coke slush. These are always a treat on a hot Missisissippi day. I prefer the Real Fruit Slushes! The lemon-Berry Slush is one I always recommend!
