Taco Bell like most fast food restaurants, has gutted their menu. It used to be good quality food at a decent price but now...thanks to the utmost of incompetence in Washington, it has declined significantly. The products they produce are subpar at best. I ordered a steak burrito supreme yesterday and it was absolutely horrible. The meat (or what they call steak..more like a rubber tire) was so tough it was like chewing on gristle. The tortilla was hard and the sauce was non existent. As usual they squirted a ton of sour creme all in one spot and it was horrible. I really think that between a corporation that is hell bent on maintaining profit levels at an outrageous level and throw in HORRIBLE employees...we get the shaft as usual. MOST people now simply do not care. They do not take pride in their work and could give a rats rear end about customer satisfaction. I am not hard to satisfy. I know that fast food is just that...fast food. I know that in order for a company to stay in business, it has to make a profit. I have no problem with making profit BUT, when u put those 2 things together..we get a train wreck for a restaurant and as usual we come out on the wrong end of the bargain. I wish companies would put more emphasis on customer relations and more emphasis on QUALITY...this notion that people are entitled to 15.00 an hour to do fast food work is absolutely ridiculous. Most fast food employees are not worth the 7.25 the employers are forced to pay. I know I am wasting my breath but...people, please take a little pride in what u do..please make an effort to say Thank you. A kind word and a smile along with a simple "Thank You" will win me over and I will be a customer for life. I'm done with taco bell. We are living in a terrible time. The world is full of horrible people who are so narcissistic they have even created new ways of worshipping themselves..social media is the bane of modern existence. People wake up and realize that the world does not revolve around you. Get back to the basics of kindness, decency, respect, good behavior, hard work, good work ethic, and virtue. I know none of this will ever happen and that I am truly typing all of this for no reason...
Read moreEven with hours of operation changing due to short staff & Covid, really love the fact they offer the full menu all day from open to close. The drive through line has gotten a lot faster & reliable within the last year. Even recently, staff I have encountered at the drive through windows have been up beat regardless if they just opened or seconds away from closing. It’s known around the state for sure of lack of staff, after the hours changed from basically 22 hours a day (closing around 3 or 4 am and reopening at least by 7 am if not sooner) , to the 7-9pm from the lack of staff to fill the 22 hour daily schedule, the staff seem to have a positive and very improved team. I can honestly say I use to check my order immediately as I received it, while still sitting in front of the window already figuring something was going to need fixing or something missing to feeling confident when receiving my order that the staff has provided positive customer service and did not make it feel like a bother having to even take my order. Within the last 4 months I haven’t checked my bag u til I was actually going to eat the meal and so far I have not been disappointed! The improvement and change in the overall experience has been remarkable, regardless of employees actions when the window is closed, when the window is open they have been great. This team seems to be moving forward regardless of staffing, etc. team members are only as good as the management training them, & they all have made a huge difference especially in the time we live now....
Read moreTaco Bell has a $5 meal right now...in a box, plus your medium drink comes with it. Great deal for anyone on a budget, or a family with many mouths to feed! The meal comes with a chalupa (your choice of beef, chicken, or steak..steak cost a little more)a taco, and your choice of cinnamon twist, or nachos and cheese dip. It's definitely plenty to eat! And drink if you eat in, refill on drinks are free. I have only one minor complaint about the food...my taste buds require mild seasoning. The cheese sauce that was on my chalupa was the limit of "heat" that I can tolerate! I'm in the minority...most of my friends and family can tolerate much hotter. It Was seasoned very well, though and was otherwise very delicious! One other thing, not so good...the table tops needed cleaning off. This was not normal, usually the tables and chairs are always very clean! We chose the cleanest one and wiped it off ourselves. My guess is they must have been so busy with custmers that they simply got a little behind; because I never recall the tables not being clean,"as a whistle" in past. I don't hold that minor in faction against them. I will definitely go back soon and I recommend this place to parents with children,as it saves you money and the food...
