Mac Bowl — Restaurant in Brookings Township

I'm in from out of town for work and wanted to try this out. I'm so happy I did. It's a little confusing if your not from here because ahua fresh are Im the same spot and the menus are split and the Mac bowl menu is on the back wall.

I feel bad because I didn't catch her name. But the gal that was working the register and making bowls was super patient with me and gave me amazing recommendations. I asked her what her favorite was and she said the smoke house. I got it to go along with two drinks from Agua Fresh.

The Mac bowl was creamy, smokey, cheesey, with a touch of tangy deliciousness that hit the spot. With it being so cloudy and gloomy outside I wanted something that would warm me up. It hit all the checkmarks and then some.

The store itself is super cute. I had pad Thai & would Not reccomend it. I ordered online & picked it up to go, so I didn't have a chance to visit about the prep of the meals.. I'm not sure if they make their own Sauces or not? I've tried multiple different restaurants' pad thai & this tasted more like boiled rice noodles + spicy bottled sweet chili sauce. There was a little egg& peanuts on it, and a tiny bit of wilted Cilantro. I'm disappointed, I'd hoped to have a closer option than driving to Sioux falls/ Noodles & Co. The space is open and bright. The service is self-serve with a kiosk when you walk in. Which I like becaus I'm an introvert and the least I have to speak with other the best. The food is spectacular. I got the truffle Parmesan Mac bowl with chicken (is extra). It absolutely melted in mouth and I groaned with pleasure with each bite. I am simply passing through and my Google assistant recommended the place because I was craving Mac n chz.
