Davanni's Pizza & Hot Hoagies — Restaurant in Brooklyn Center

Update: 5/1/24 Things are now consistently a hit or a miss at this Davannis, which isn't consistent at all. I used to order AT LEAST once a week because they are 2 miles away from my house and I used to have good experiences every time, so I dont know if they hired a bunch of new people all of a sudden at once but it is now a roll of the dice that the pizza will show up alright or there will be something seriously wrong with your pizza. Pictured at the way bottom is how my pizza showed up with the cheese slid off. I'm not sure if I will order ever again because if I do it will be like me rolling the dice for a 50/50 chance my order won't be messed up LITTERALLY.

Update: (2/4/24) Things got better after the last email but tonight Feb 4 I had a very mangled pizza (pictured 4th to last) show up from the Brooklyn Center MN location around 530pm because someone tried to cut in triangles and then saw then too late realized it was supposed to be cut in squares but sent it anyways instead of remaking plus the delivery driver Dylan for some reason didn't understand the concept of no contact delivery. I got bothered when I was finishing up a project with MANY phone calls (at least 4!!) because they wanted to hand it off and he just sat in his car letting my pizza get cold instead of just dropping it off and I was waiting for him to do just that and leave, then I was going to come out. Usually the delivery driver just rings the door bell and I know when to get it AFTER they leave (as clearly instructed and the pizza turned out to be very much luke warm just because of this drivers actions) and then he had the audacity to tell me "Just so you know, I need to see it handed to you" I choose contact free for personal reasons, please don't have it as an option if the delivery drivers don't understand it or stick to it and I won't be able to use this place if its not an option. Not everyone wants to be in contact with people for health or personal reasons and should be respected. I am pregnant and I am at home. I want less contact during flu season. May order less or not at all because this is getting...

I don’t know about their other menu items, but if you want pizza do NOT go here!!!!! Their pizza is absolutely disgusting and I do not use this word lightly. Greasy, salty, burnt, too much bread, can’t even see the sauce - both white sauce and bbq - on the pizzas, let alone taste it! Also, the deep dish pizza???? A utter joke!!!! I didn’t expect it to be Chicago, I at least thought it would taste better than Lil Caesars. Forget about tasting better than Lil Caesars, it couldn’t even match it!!!!!!!! It was all bread and the bread doesn’t even taste good!!!!! We ate one pizza from both boxes and already I had stomach problems and as I was driving home I had to pull over because my little brother ended up puking!!!!! A complete waste of my money!!!!!!!
