This was by far the most unpleasant experience my family and I have ever had. We arrived at Johnny's Pizza THURSDAY MARCH 18 at 7:00 pm. My Mom, myself, and my sister. We sat down at a table and noticed there were no other customers in the entire restaurant. We still had to wait 10 min before our waitress came over to take our order. We ordered a large pizza and a hamburger. After about a half hr. we were wondering why it was taking so long as there were just a handful of customers that came in for pick up and were the only customers dining in. It seems they were too busy talking to each other behind the counter to notice that after 45 min of waiting were trying to get someone's attention. Mind you; no customers came to dine in the whole time we were there. We were the only table there! After almost one hr. We decided to leave. My sister went to the counter and said, we have been waiting for an hr. and no one has even come over to the table. This is ridiculous. We are leaving. There was no explanation, apology, or anything! The only thing our waitress said with a big smile as we were walking out the door was, "you're all set to have a good night " Really??? In all my yrs. Of waitressing, and as a customer, this is beyond unexceptional. I have been in the restaurant business for over 20 yrs. I understand mistakes happen. But then you execute whatever it takes to aim to make it right. To at least communicate with your customers. Maybe you got busy and forgot to put the order in, or something happend in the kitchen; whatever the situation may be, most people will be a little more understanding if your at least honest with them and have some compassion for the problem. We left there very disappointed, not just because of the whole situation, but we were still hungry and now had to find somewhere else to eat, which by this time most places were closing or already closed. I wrote this review not to embarrass anyone, but in hopes it to be a lesson and strive to be better at what you do. I have been a fan of Jonnys Pizza since I was a kid, and I can say this Johnny and Kia would have never let this happen. They treated their customers like family, whether you were a regular customer or an individual who walks in for the first time. They were hardworking people who truly loved what they did and always made sure everyone walked out of their restaurant happy with their experience. I'm sorry, but I can only give this place one star because we did get our drinks at a...
Read moreI was very disappointed with the delivery of my meal. I expected a wait time. After an hour, I called to check on my order. I was told the driver just left. I live less than a mile away. I waited 15 minutes, and called again. This time I was told that both the waitress and driver were new. I was very specific with my apartment address. The driver delivered it to another address and let someone sign for it. I am now concerned that another person signed my name to the slip, or just signed any name and the driver didn't check the name on the order. They then offered to make another pizza for me and it would be there real soon. Another phone call and another excuse. My husband made the last call. The person who answered the phone asked the manager for help. My husband asked to have the the charges reversed on our debit card. The manager said that they don't do that. Instead there is some kind of system where a credit for food is "saved" and when ever we want it, it is there. That is not what I wanted. This is why I...
Read moreBack in the day, you were loyal to either Giants, Pizzarama, or Johnny's. I used to be a pizzarama guy all the way, but recently visiting, we grabbed a couple of pizzas from Johnny's. Overall, a good pizza, there wasn't a wow factor. but I was surprised by it. Overall, for me, the crust definitely makes the pizza. I thought they had a good solid crust it was pretty tasty, not too flimsy. The sauce might have been a little sweet for me, but it wasn't bad. My wife and Kids did not grow up in the area, so they had no loyalty to anyone, and they really seemed to like the pizza. Think next time I'll have to get a pizza from the three of them and see which one I actually like the most. At least I know I won't be disappointed with a Johnny's pizza. We had a takeout. I don't know if they were really busy it did seem to take a little while to get the pizza. I waited about 15-20 minutes before I even came to the store, and I had to wait about another 10 to 15 minutes to actually take...
