Taco Bell — Restaurant in Broomfield

Pretty sure I got food poisoning right after eating here. This location is probably the worst franchise in the State, and I travel all over. It's honestly my fault for trying to give this site multiple chances, but virtually everything is terrible here.

1. their supply is limited
2. their employees, god rest their souls, seem to be hired based on if they can breathe and stand up straight, the minimum requirements
3. they seem incredibly understaffed, taking huge swaths of time off actually keeping the place opened and staffed. I sat in a drive thru where apparently no one was there until 7pm.
4. the food they do try selling is stale, old, and suspiciously not cooked well. Probably why I got sick after eating it. I got the crunchwraps and they felt like I was biting into a kitchen sponge left to dry.
5. for the same price you'd waste here you could literally feed a family at any other restaurant near them for better deals.

The pros: I literally came here just to get a baja blast slushie I was just going to spike, and was foolish enough to buy actual "food" here.

I partially blame myself for wasting money here because this has consistently been the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of coming to. I dont want to blame the very few workers that show up because I'm sure they're severely underpaid and what they do get doesnt fully cover the meth they rely on, but I think this place is suffering from a critical lack of actual leadership and management to properly staff and properly pay their employees. It seems to me like whoever is in charge should be fired, and if the only person in charge is the franchise owner, they should sell the place off and never enter the food industry again.

I'm just blown away by how abysmally terrible this...

On Oct. 5th 2022 approx 115pm, decided to grab quick snack after my mom's surgery 😋 She needed to put something in her stomach after not eating since 10pm the night before. My auntie was helping my mom on kiosk, not sure they were going to really use it to order. So I walked up to counter, just to look at menu. There was 1 visible employee a young man (maybe 18-20yrs old) in drive thru taking an order, no manager, no other visible employee. Looked like small kitchen, saw 1 line, turned around to see what my family decided how to order....high school rush came in and kiosks were full. I was standing at the counter still with credit card in hand and boy in drive thru yells at me... 'KIOSKS ONLY!' I was immediately SHOCKED 😲 , being a manager for McDonald's, I couldn't believe that a company would turn away customers, demanding they have to order by a kiosk. I have NEVER TURNED ANY CUSTOMER AWAY THAT WAS AT OUR REGISTERS. I have always acknowledged our customers by greeting of hello/hi I'm sorry please give me a moment. Asked my family if I could add mine to their order. As I typed my order in , I look up at REGISTER and the boy in drive thru took order from 3 high school boys.... Of course I said ' Only KIOSKs???' All of the sudden some lady yells from back of the store.....'YEP...KIOSKS ONLY!!!' All we ordered was 2 bean burritos 🌯 and 1 crunchy taco 🌮

A male manager came out of the restroom, walked to the line and put on gloves, then began to make food.

WAIT WHAT 😳.....YOU THINK I AM GOING TO TRUST THAT HE WASHED HIS HANDS ✋

I went through the drive thru at non peak time, placed my order but saw they had something on the menu I wanted instead after they told me the order total and I had started to pull forward, so I figured I'd just add it to my order at the window. The lady working the window requested it to the line staff and came back telling me that if i wanted it I would have to drive back around and order it. Blown away as to why it couldn't have it just been added to the order she said it would mess up the times for the other orders. However no one was in the store really as there were no other cars in the parking lot, I asked why and if there were other orders in the drive thru. She claimed no but they had counter orders that would have to come first. I said fine, then can I just place another order here. She said that whoever was giving her instructions in the back that no i would still have to drive back around and order it. Frustrated i told her just to forget the whole thing and I drove off. Stewing still as I tried to think of what I wanted to eat instead I decided to call the restaurant & complain to the management. After the phone ringin several times, it sounded like someone picked up but then just sat the phone down. I said hello several times and then the line disconnected. Needless to say I don't think any of this was right and I will not be choosing Taco Bell again, or at least not...
