*Edit 1: I spoke to the GM on Saturday, and he did well in listening to my concerns. I hope that things get better in terms of customer service down the pipeline.
Edit 2: Still haven't received my refund for my order, and it has been 9 days since. Frustrating
Edit 3: STILL NO Refund after almost a MONTH, and this is even after talking to the manager and getting him to confirm that i will be getting my money back in a timely manner.
Edit 4: FINALLY got all of my money back and this was after contacting the owner on Monday. So much stress.
Beware folks!*
The past three times that I have ordered at this location, I’ve had to wait an additional 20-30 minutes after my food was ordered. I am not sure if this is what is normal for this location or other locations, but this seems excessive.
This fourth interaction occurred yesterday and left me feeling upset to the point of tears and quite unsure if I would ever eat at this location with my family again. I placed my order online and was given an estimation of when to expect my order to be ready. When I arrived at the quoted time to get my order, the front cashier told me that they haven’t even started my order, so it would still be some time before my food was ready. I went to the back of the store to wait until I was called to pick up the area. Thirty minutes later, after not being called, I approached that cashier to ask about an eta of my order (my family was waiting in the car), and he said that he would get it started himself. Ten minutes later, I stood close to the pick-up area as I was anticipating being called up next to get my order, the cashier asked me if I needed anything as if I was a new customer so I told him that I was still waiting for my to be completed. At that point, the cashier told me that they ran out to rice and asked me if I wanted a refund for the rice (brown and white) or get noodles instead. I told him that I would be okay just getting a refund for the rice, so he took down my name and phone number with the note about the rice. I went to the back of the store to wait for my order to be completed with this change. At the fifty minute mark, the store was almost empty, and the individuals in the back started cleaning the equipment, so I again walked back up the front to ask about my order. The cashier told me that he had canceled my entire order and that they had prepared no food from my order from me. At this point, I was so hungry, and on the verge of tears, all I could do was walk straight out to the store to find somewhere else to get my family dinner.
It is totally understandable that there is a longer wait time around dinner time and when a lot of other people are waiting for their orders as well. What was the most disappointing part of this encounter was that there were no apologies or offers to remedy...
Read moreI finally tried it after 2 years of wondering and I don't think I've ever been so let down by food before. First of all, it's 2024, you're in the "yes business" and in a culture of upcharging, you're missing out on profits. If Panda Express can manage to give me both noodles AND rice, I think you guys should be able to handle it. Being told "no" to a basic request like that usually makes me want to ask if they need me to teach them how, but the girl working the counter was young & just doing her job. I'm immediately turned off by a business that won't accommodate the smallest requests like that. I wanted to order 3 appetizers, but I decided to save my money after you couldn't give me noodles & rice.
Now, the food. I ordered chicken breast teriyaki and orange chicken. The chicken breast was so dry it was basically jerky. My dog even spit it out which is actually insane. The orange chicken had very little meat at all, mostly just fried & tossed breading. The rice was mushy and has a strange taste to it. Speaking of taste, how does a place called "teriyaki madness" serve bland food? Even after adding the extra sauce cup, the food had no flavor. I guess that's because you have to pay almost $3 extra for them to toss everything together?
All in all, I absolutely do not...

I just discovered this place July 2023, I have no idea how any of the 1 star reviews could have been from the same place. Yes, the sauces come in plastic and you put them on yourself, but they will give you extra or whatever you ask for, and every order I ever got was right!
The value for the food is incredible, the Large bowl was 3 meat servings of Protein, it took me a week to eat my first Large Chicken Katsu bowl in 3 sittings. The small bowls are just right for a meal and savory and hot for under 10$ ? AMAZING!
I've had the white rice, the brown rice the noodles in lots of dishes, and the veggie mix is good, but if you don't like/want cabbage ask for the all broccoli upgrade it's amazing!
They are SPOT ON with online pick up orders and timings, I use the online app and order and pay and show up at the recommended time and it's always on the counter ready to go!
I did put a 1 for atmosphere, not for any bad reasons, it's clean and well maintained, it's just super tiny, and usually full of delivery drivers. They also play some oddly loud hip hop music which I thought was really strange for a Japanese place, but whatever, the food is...
