La Paleta Michoacana — Restaurant in Brownsville

The place is great to enjoy some good mexican snacks, it lacks customer service! Tonight we went in to enjoy a nice time, nope on the contrary, the lady that was assisting us was very rude! She asked one of us what we wanted, she told her but the rest of us where indecisive so we were taking longer than usual. So we asked her to help the person after us while we looked around and choose something, then she comes back to ask us, after she's done with the other person, very rudely what do you want? We still didn't know what to pick and well another of us did pick something and she's like "I'll be back then I'm gonna go get that" with a rude tone once more. Finally we decided what to pick and she was gonna charge us and again very rudely she attended us. Instead of enjoying a good night out and our snacks, it made us choose not to come back to this place! People if you don't want to work...

Update on this location's rating today they have lost a customer for good and I will no longer recommend this location and the reason for that is I just found out they do not use clean pure filtered water for their aguas frescas, they use TAP WATER.... it is honestly beyond disgusting and ridiculous this whole time I thought their prices were because they were using clean pure filtered water but their prices are just for the location and additives in the tap water, one is only left to assume that the rest of the items are also made with the same tap water, update I've not bought any products from them since, be safe and be...

Just chilling back at my mom's hometown for a visit this weekend and we have my lil niece with us, so we stopped in this paleta place for a treat. No regrets at all! My brother got a large horchata and frozen choco-platano, my niece got a bubblegum paleta, and I got an agua mineral preparada and a pepino paleta. The horchata was SO delicious!!
