Main Street Deli — Restaurant in Brownsville

First the good. My wife thought it was a cute little place to get a bite with the kids and that we could eat outside. Ok...So we go and as anyone knows parking downtown is always a toss up. Got there and the menu is ok. I wish they'd stick to sandwiches and salads. Anyway, my daughter got the spaghetti and meatballs as well as a hot chocolate. I got a salad with fruit and a Bills lemonade. My wife and son got ice cream. Ice cream was Blue bell so no surprise there. The salad was delicious with chicken. The spaghetti was delicious solid sauce and meatballs were great too! Smell was sooooo good in the air! Bro chocolate was too hot and she couldn't drink it during meal so i shared my lemonade. The lemonade wasn't very good, tasted like powdered old country time. Didn't taste fresh squeezed. Ice cream was good! It's blue Bell come on! So the bad was...hot chocolate, lemonade, and the price. Off the bat this is not worth $30.00+ this is so sad and the way the menu is labeled even worse great example on pics so I ordered the "Avocado chicken sandwich " where the heck is the Avocado for a $ 13.00 Flat sandwich are you kidding even the high end competitors are bigger and at least worth the 13.00 and here no very dissapointed the soup is another poblano soup.. really its poblano sauce diluted with water to make it soupy and very bland no flavor but spice. Party of four I ordered a Chicken Ceasar wrap for my daughter but they brought a chicken wrap. When I let them know they got the order wrong they told me that's what the order taker entered. I was told if I wanted the Chicken Ceasar wrap I would need to pay for another wrap. I looked at the recipient and the order taker indeed had incorrectly entered the wrong wrap. I was informed that in there opinion the mistake was mine and the policy was I would need to pay for another wrap. It was our first visit and I thought it was poor policy but I paid for an additional wrap. Staff was polite and not rude in any way food was tasty and delivered quickly. I would try again and I would recommend just be careful when ordering and pay extra close attention any mistake in the order will be on...
