Taco Palenque Morrison & Expy 77 — Restaurant in Brownsville

I went to this location yesterday evening. Been there every time I go to Brownsville. Never had such a horrible experience. I’ve visited the new one in San Antonio. Since day 1 when they opened. Every time I ask for something the employees are very friendly but to my Surprise, yesterday when I asked the cashier for a manager They gentleman that asked me how could he help me was not a manager material. I asked to change my rice for the fideo. That I move so much. That’s one of the reasons I go there. He said he couldn’t do it. I asked why his reply was cause we measure everything. I told him I didn’t like the rice his reply was that’s the way the plate comes and the only way I could get it. I really wanted to walk out and leave. He has no APOLOGY NO SYMPATHY NOTHING. Very cocky and Arrogant, selfish human being. I told him I would never go back and he still didn’t care. Who would promote him as a manager. He told me he was the manager. Hopefully he’s not the GM , but he sure acted that big. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. I’m a business man and whatever I can do for my clients I do it. Hope someone takes care of this...

Ok, well, I felt like a good Menudo. Now I have a small for the price. I'm like, what the heck did I get? A child's plate with counted Menudo pieces... seriously?? Guys, the bowl looks like the one for a very small salsa. I'm like, yall need good bowls or change the price to the small Menudo Definitely not worth the price. 2nd, I complained and asked the lady what in the world? So she has the audacity to take it and I'm there waiting gets another bowl with menudo literally pics out like 5 more meat pieces and places them in my own bowl 🤯 I'm like what in the world?? 🤦‍♀️ OMG, did I just witness that, and she says that is the small Menudo I'm like for $8.00. Are you out of your mind?? I PUT THE SALT SHAKER so you can see the size of the $8.00 dollar bowl... Sheesh redunkoulous never again. So buyers be aware. Yet like $5.00 more you get the large I'm like don't even get me started. And what's with all the hollering in the kitchen?. I didn't get the full yelling but so uncalled for. So...

(6_14_2023) The fajita platter for two can actually feed three people. It comes with the best fajita in town, grilled onions, sides of beans and rice, and choice of flour or corn tortillas. I.forgot to mention their salsas. There are about 4 or 5 to choose from.

(3-12-2023) The fajita super quesadilla is great. Two flour tortillas with cheese and fajitas topped with guacamole. You can choose from a variety of salsas to go along with the quesadilla.

The panchos are delicious. Chips topped with cheese, fajita, and guacamole. They also have a variety of salsas to add to the panchos.

Today (6-19-2021) we had the fajita parrillada for two. The fajita is delicious. It comes with tortillas, guacamole, refried beans, and rice. There are different salsas to choose from. The restaurant was not too packed.
