I BEG MANAGEMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE RESTAURANT SERVING PROCEDURES. IMPROVE CLEANING OF UTENSILS, DINING WARE, SILVERWARE.
My paternal father wished to eat at this restaurant. I HAD TO CLEAN THE TABLE, THE SEATS, DINING WARE, THE GREASY SPOTTY GLASSES AND SILVERWARE.
Here are the Pro's and Con's.
CON - Sirloin was properly cooked, but arrived almost COLD.
PRO - Broccoli and Carrots are properly cooked, arrived HOT and STEAMY.
CON - Silverware is stained, smeared, dirty, greasy, grimy. Typical machine washing fast food restaurant. You have to change that or I refuse to dine in at your location.
CON - Dining ware plates and glasses alike, full of stuck on previous food, previous grease, previous grime and scum. Dirty soft drink glasses with spots, dirt and finger prints everywhere. You need to have employees washing and cleaning the plates by hand. I REPEAT CLEAN DISHES AND GLASSES BY HAND. You have to change the washing procedures of the dining ware. You have to stop being a fast food, fast dine in, fast ordering restaurant. You are serving MEAT. Meat needs to be served on a spotless plate TOP, BOTTOM, FRONT AND BACK.
You need to serve ALL COOKED FOOD in SPOTLESS PLATES. SPOTLESS PLATES. SPOTLESS PLATES.
CON - No disinfecting antibacterial gel dispensers upon entering the restaurant.
CON - No individual hand disinfecting swab pads on any table. I know this is not your responsibility as a restaurant to supply dispensers at the entrance, but there are elderly citizens like my father that cannot walk to the restroom to wash their hands. Entrance doors are dirty, walls are dirty, tables are dirty. Germs and bacteria grow by the minute, if you are a restaurant serving cooked meals, your main health concern is disinfecting surface areas, at all costs by all means.
CON - No scrubbing or cleaning of the table grime, grease, crumbs and leftovers from the previous customer. Bus boys use a rag full of gathered up grease instead of using paper towels to capture the mess. The rag is used over and over and over on table tops and booth seats.
CON - Bus boys place the dirty dishes on the bucket, bucket is placed on the SEAT. Bucket needs to be placed ON THE FLOOR. Bucket is wet, greasy, grimy and does not need to touch the seat where one sits. The bucket is not placed on the table either. This is all a lengthy request and changes to operating daily procedures for all restaurants. YOUR RESTAURANT NEEDS A HEALTH INSPECTION WITH SOPHISTICATED CHANGE OF FOOD PREPAREDNESS STANDARD PROCEDURES.
CON - Soft drink machine in restaurant. No option for purchasing soft drink beverage in a bottle or can. THIS IS TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION, GERMS, INFECTION OR STOMACH DISCOMFORT.
CON - Consumed plate no longer in use is left for an extensive amount of time on the customer's table. The restaurant has to re-train the waiters/waitresses to be IMMEDIATELY ALERT, IMMEDIATELY AWARE, IMMEDIATELY CONSCIOUS that if they see a left over plate on the customer's table, the waiter/waitress NEEDS TO ASK IF THEY ARE FINISHED EATING so they can remove the plate and be taken to the kitchen to be washed and cleaned.
CON - Cannot pay at the front counter, no cash register available. I have to wait until the waiter/waitress picks up the money and pay thru them only.
CON - The returned change was not exact. THE CHANGE MUST BE EXACT NOT LESS THAN OR THIS HABIT IS CONSIDERED STEALING. DOLLAR AFTER DOLLAR CENT AFTER CENT THE RESTAURANT DOES NOT GIVE PROPER CHANGE.
PRO - The food may be advertised as fabulous on your menus and it is, the side dishes may be advertised as delicious and they are.
Corona virus changed how I think about clean dining at home or at a restaurant.
I'm truly sorry there are more CONs than PROs.
I will wait for a proper reply and expect a plan of action on how to address some if not all of my...
Read moreSince we had a party of 15 we Called in to get on the wait list . I was informed it would be an hour wait and accepted the wait time . We were told to please come inside once my complete party arrived at the restaurant. So I went inside and informed them all our party had arrived . They confirmed my phone # and advised they would be contacting us once the tables would be available . We waited in our vehicle and 1 and 1/2 hours later I called to get an update . Now They informed me they didn’t have us on the wait list went inside and spoke to the hostess and she said they made a mistake and they would be contacting me shortly. Another 1/2 hour goes by and I called them again from my vehicle and now was informed that my wait time was pushed up to 2 hours . I told them they should have informed me from the beginning the wait time could be up to 2 hours . I totally get it on a Saturday evening they are extremely busy but I could have gone elsewhere not wanting to wait 2 hours for a table. I also own a business and understand delays . But the customer needs to be updated immediately and not wait for the customer to call the business again to be given another delay . However they should have informed me of the 2 hour or more wait time upfront . What a waste of time !!! I will not ever give them my business again . That reflects on poor...
Read moreI'm from McKinney, Tx and we were coming through Brownsville, when we decided to eat at Roadhouse!
We have a few back home, but none of them can even compare to the service we received at this one tonight!
First off, we (my husband and I) chose to sit at the bar Where we were greeted by waitresses Ana, Billie Jean(I think), and Stephanie! Their team work together was very impressive!. I also like that they shook our hands and introduced themselves And asked us our names as well!
We ordered cheese fries as our appetizer, that came out so beautiful! They had extra and perfect cheese all over them! We are normally used to getting burnt ones, or some with hardly any cheese at all from the one back home. But we WERE SO HAPPY to see that this location wasn't so stingy with It!
2nd we ordered steak kabobs to share and the steak came out CORRECTLY the first time!! This is super hard to get right the first time because they are harder to cook since they're kabobs.
These ladies really went above and beyond with their service tonight and after our long drive, we really appreciated the friendliness! They all deserve raises! I could actually tell that they loved their jobs!
Ana even sacked up our to go boxes and included plastic forks and FRESH bread to go!
Don't miss out on trying out this...
