Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Brownwood

As more time passes it seems like it is harder to get a correct order and they are often closed at strange times. Sometimes it is clear the employees there do not want to be there and they have acted this out this towards me and other patrons with intentional exaggerated slowness and their overall behaviors. It is rare the drink machine or tea is stocked with any options outside of about what I can count on one hand or there is enough ice. You won't be able to find that out until you go to fill up your cup either and you realize you have wasted money on a drink you can't have because you get no choices and may as well have water anyway. I think they slack on ordering food items too because it's often they're "out" of half the menu and there's times I've just given up trying to order entirely because it gets irritating when you've already tried to make another choice for the third time. For the second time in probably two weeks now, drove by to find the establishment closed and signs on the door. They stopped doing the Wednesday special here at this location. It's really a number of things and with the way some of the employees have acted I'm not too keen to return. The bathroom usually needs to be cleaned when I've been there, and the TVs that they installed either don't work or they are turned off. We got better service during covid honestly, and this place was busier then too. Don't think it takes an expert to figure out why. It's looking like a write off of this location. Maybe it's ok in another town but this one has lost the magic for sure and something is very wrong that management...

Used to be my favorite place but recently it’s been horrible.. have been in 4 times in the last month and a half and always order the Cobb salad.. I understand when your out of things but I asked today to make sure what they didn’t have.. was told the only thing they were out of was the eggs.. I was ok with that BUT yet again for the forth time my said came with no croutons/bread slices(either one would have been fine) also absolutely no Turkey to be found in the whole salad! ( I know they had Turkey as my daughter got it on her sandwich! )When I asked about the croutons I was hatefully told they haven’t had them for years and that it never has came with them in years… funny because ALL my previous ones had them! Such a rude lady in the kitchen!! If it wouldn’t have been for the 2 youngest ladies working here I would have walked out! Come on Brownwood schlotzskys, get a grip on your employee and teach them how to make the salads correctly! I mean even your pictures online show bread...

I wanted to get on here to give a review about my experience that I had this evening, 3-14-22 at approximately 7:30pm. We walked up to the front counter to order. We waited a short time before being waited on and while we were waiting I noticed a couple was in there eating. We were done ordering when the staff member told us that they were only taking to-go orders because the lobby was shut down 30 mins prior to closing. We kindly declined our order and left because we wanted to dine in. As we were leaving I didn't understand why they would tell us this yet have the front doors and the lobby open. I called several times to speak with a manager and never got an answer. Why would a place of business decline business to a customer when the sign says open till 8:00pm?
