Food King — Restaurant in Brunswick

I'm a person that will go out of my way to call a place and tell them how good their service was or give them a good review, or call and tell managers how good their worker was to me. I just spent $40 on takeout for my family and all of the chicken that we ordered is dark meat breaded chicken (sweet and sour and orange chicken), looks like pork.... If there is actually meat inside. Never in my life have I ever had sweet n sour chicken be dark meat with breading. It's disgusting. I could deal with the dark meat if it tasted good. But it doesn't. It's the worst chicken I've ever had. It looks nothing like chicken. First time ordering from them and I told them when I called. They offered to do nothing because the reason is.... that we don't like it. None of us do. Waste of 40 bucks. Very gross. $40 is a lot these days when everything is so expensive. ...

Wow so terribly disappointed! Food was less than subpar by far! I ordered from here for the first time expecting the food to be what was advertised in there pictures (the pictures they use for there fried rice for example is fresh fried rice) low and behold I get tasteless yellow rice with frozen mixed vegetables mixed in 🙄 the sweet and sour sauce tasted minty, the crab rangoon was the worst I've ever had! Tasteless bland and greasy. The egg rolls were greasy as well and again bland, surprisingly though there general tso chicken was pretty good. But I would never go here again. Especially from there false advertising and using pics that aren't of there actual food. Dont go here if you are expecting fresh cooked...

Tonight was the first time we ordered food there. Picked up 3 combo dinners, paid with cash, and used 10% off coupon. Girl did NOT give me 10% off so I asked her about it. She had to use a calculator and still did not give me correct discount. I finally said to heck with it and left! Sweet & sour chicken and pepper steak were average. Orange chicken and egg rolls were good. Fried rice was very disappointing as there were 4 peas, 6 pieces of onion, and 5 tiny pieces of pork. Our other place uses many more veggies in their rice.
