We usually have a nice experience at this Freddy's, which is why I am giving it three stars instead of five. However, this recent experience has made me question if we will return.
When we arrived, there were two cars in front of us in the drive-through. We ordered relatively quickly, but were in line for almost 10 minutes before we finally got to the window. That is a bit frustrating, but I get being busy. We paid for our food, and were told to pull ahead and they would bring it out. Again, no big deal. But... we waited for another 10 minutes and nothing. Other cars were going through the drive through and getting their food, but no one came out. My wife ended up going in, and the employees acted like they just finished making it and bagging it. But... when she got in the car, they left out one of our fries (that we paid for), and everything was cold. So no, they did not just finish cooking it, they clearly forgot and then rushed to throw it together. But no one copped to the mistake and we left without all our food and no compensation.
Unacceptable business practices. Just admit you made a mistake, make fresh food, and comp the meal. Easy enough.
Will likely not return if that is...
Read moreUpdate: I filled out the survey before this review, and also a 2nd time after Freddy's replied to this review (as they requested). I have not received a response. Reaching out to customers on bad reviews must be just for show.
First time trying Freddy's after hearing about their amazing custard.
The employee said they ran out so it would take a while to make more. Which I had no problem waiting the extra 10-15 mins. I was excited!
Once I received my togo order, I headed home. Sadly, I opened the container to find barely any ice cream. It was almost entirely toppings. They added extra brownies and whipped cream to try and fill the empty space. I probably got 4-5 spoons of custard in the large bowl.
I sent a picture and note to the Freddys website like they suggested in other reviews but no one has responded. I feel cheated out of an almost $8 large ice cream. -- It tasted great though.
(Picture shows after i ate one of the 3 massive brownies. There is just a pool of watery whipped cream but almost...
Read moreMy granddaughters and I all love going to Freddy’s after. I introduced them to it a couple of years ago and they ate their first cheeseburger and loved the concrete but when we visited last time, on our way to the movies, our hamburgers were terrible and looked like they had been sitting or something, and mine was terrible. I took one bite and put it down and didn’t eat anymore neither did one of my granddaughters and the other only ate a little of hers. They basically had french fries and concrete for dinner and I had to buy extra fries because they were still hungry but I didn’t tell the manager about our cheeseburgers because we had to get to the movies and I didn’t want to make the experience more negative for them. Our bill was $41.53. Then the additional fries were $4.32. That is a lot of money to spend to only turn around and eat theater food because we were all still hungry. Very disappointed! This...
