A couple of friends and I tried this place since it's new and close by to work. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, I liked the garden like themed on the walls and the light fixtures were so cool they were speakers too. It was interesting to hear country music(which I love regardless) in a Italian style restaurant. The restaurant was clean, good amount of seating. The waiter (wish I got his name) short black hair, he was very welcoming and very friendly. Parking was difficult but it is located on Monroe main road.
FOOD: I ordered the Meatball Panini came with a bag of plain potato chips, and I ordered a kids cup of Mac and cheese. My opinion: it was okay, the meatballs didn't have flavor, the sauce taste like it's from a jar, the cheese was melted on the bread id prefer it on the meatballs, and the bread was good. It came with two halves that were decently sized. The chips were good, like a normal bag of chips. The Mac and cheese had thick noodles, good portion, super thick cheese. I didn't like the Mac and cheese and probably wouldn't order it for my 2 year old. In my opinion its too thick for kids. I also had an ice tea which was refreshing and not overly sweetened. My bill came out to around $21 without a tip
Friend 1: got a Ham and Swiss sandwich on wheat bread (only choices are white or wheat) the ingredients looked fresh, she enjoyed it. It was a basic light ham and Swiss sandwich. Hers also came with a bag of plain potatoe chips and she had the rest of my Mac and cheese, which she enjoyed the thickness and taste of it. Bill came out to around $12 without tip
Friend 2&3: both ordered the same sandwich a Grilled Chicken Caprese on wheat bread, one without tomato. They both said their sandwich was good, had good flavor to it, one said her chicken was a bit dry while the other chicken sandwich was moist. Both also had a bag of plain potatoe chips, and one had Mac and cheese also and didn't like the flavor or thickness of it. The ingredients also looked fresh, and the set up of it was appealing too. Bill was around $12 as well without tip
When you view the menu be sure to look under each labeled section on if you can have these certain foods at a certain time of day. They accept cash and card through the Square app/card slide phone attachment. No tap at the moment.
A couple suggestions I wish they had: for sure more options for kids like chicken tenders or pizza for lunch and dinner. Maybe for breakfast French toast or waffles. I really wanted French fries instead of a bag of chips. Oo and maybe a fried chicken sandwich.
I'd like to try this restaurant again but for dinner I love pasta and would like to try it and experience the atmosphere in the night with all their lights on outside the restaurant. Gives hidden...
Read moreWe got 2 kids breakfast meals that included a pancake, sausage link, piece of bacon and cookie. We also got a breakfast combo with 2 pancakes, 2 sausage links, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, hasbrowns, biscuits and gravy and I think it was supposed to come with ham but I didn't receive that. Overall the food was just ok. The bacon was typical thin fast food bacon, the hashbrowns were decent and the eggs were cooked fine. My kids didn't like their scrambled eggs but my over medium eggs were fine. The biscuits and gravy were just ok and not a great biscuit. I didn't care for the pancakes as they seemed to lack flavor but they were cooked well and a decent size. The butter provided seemed like margarine and not actual butter as advertised. The employees were welcoming and they price point was 33$, which I feel is fair for the amount of food. I wanted to give this place a try over dennys or cracker barrel to support a small business but unfortunately the food didn't justify the extra 7 minutes travel time for me. Im sure I'll try lunch/dinner or other breakfast menu items some time...
Read moreAmazing new spot in town, took my mom in for a nice dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We had excellent service and were sat quickly, they had a good array of drink options, and even better food options. Had the burrata app (pictured) before our meal and oh my goodness was it wonderful. It comes with four decent sized pieces of garlicky toast topped with fresh tomatoes, super creamy burrata, and basil. I’ve always enjoyed this classic Italian dish, but I think I’ve found a new favorite. We had the pasta which was SO GOOD. I had their special for the weekend which was lobster ravioli (also pictured), while she had penne and shrimp with Alfredo sauce. We were welcomed with open arms, and our server was super attentive, I highly recommend this place if you want a great atmosphere...
