So we walk outta Cross Keys, and look left and ask "What the heck is Swede&Sour?". I cannot describe eloquently enough how happy I am that we stopped in and grabbed a loaf of rye and some english muffins. However, I am utterly devastated we only got 2 pretzels. And my sister ate the other one so I only had the 1. I should've order 1 shelf of pretzels. This place was incredible. In my review for Cross Keys, I said I'd likely never be back around Doylestown area again. Just too far. For Swede&Sour, and another pretzel or dozen, I may make the trip again. Read moreVery quaint and relaxed bakery. I have been here on a couple of occasions and they never disappoint. Came for the Viking bread this journey but, it wasn’t made this week. Opted for the round sourdough loaf and it was delicious. Picked up two of the cardamom buns and ate them with my wife for breakfast. Yummy! Also grabbed one oatmeal raisin cookie for dessert last evening and it put a smile on my face. It was moist and chewy with plenty of raisins and paired well with a cup of coffee. One could put a dollop of vanilla bean ice cream on top and have a legitimate dessert. ...
