DON'T GO HERE. I entered the store around 10:56 am on 09/02/23 with my two kids where, Ezra greeted me, and asked me what I needed. I stated I was there to pick up a phone that I ordered online; she then went into the back to get Adam, where he told me the phone I ordered was canceled. I asked how because I received an email the day (09/01) prior stating it would be canceled by the (09/02) end of business if I didn't pick it up. I was okay with that, it hard trying to take kids everywhere and life happens. I then asked if I could buy a phone in-store instead since I made it over a 30-minute drive from Telford and wanted to leave with something since I was adding my Fiance onto my line. He asked me for my ID and a debit card, which I offered with no hesitation. he told me my ID was fake just by looking at it, that he couldn’t sell me a phone and I had to go to the corporate store in Warrington. I used to work for Verizon at an authorized store like this and knew exactly what he was hinting at; he assumed I was scamming. I've been a Verizon customer for years and never had this experience. He threatened to call the police, which I was okay with; I guess he expected that I would run as a black woman when the police were called.Nope, I know my rights, and I did nothing wrong. The police showed up and verified my ID, and it’s legit. If you're going to claim someone's ID isn’t real, you need to have an ID scanner and stop profiling whom you choose when you choose. It caused emotional distress in my kids and me. I have never had this kind of experience, and I’ve bought devices at authorized dealers, such as phones and gizmo watches; there's been miscommunication on their part, but nothing to...
Read moreMy 76 year old father went here to pick up his new phone. I had checked the box on the online order to do the expert setup. When he went into the store, a young woman handed him the phone in the box and started walking away immediately. He politely asked about help setting it up, if it at least comes with any instructions, to which she said, "no there's no instructions" and walked away. He left, called me (he avoids confrontation at all costs) and I told him to go back in and ask again because I checked the box and he is an old man that needs help with this stuff, he's been a Verizon customer for 40 years, they weren't busy otherwise, it's their freakin job, and it's a $600+ purchase. He went back in and politely asked if they could help him set it up. She said no, they only help people that paid IN the store, and walked away. He gladly would have paid for the help, but she didn't even give him a price... just said no and walked away. He asked if he could sit there and try to set it up himself there, to which she shrugged and looked away. He had a question right away, she scoffed at him and walked away again. The other employee, a male maybe mid-30s, was there also not busy with another customer and didn't pay my father any attention. My father had to flag him down to ask a simple question. They guy gave a half answer and walked away. My Dad felt really minimized and decided to leave. What kind of place doesn't help an elderly paying customer?!? And be rude about it at the same time, like get over yourselves. DO...
Read moreOverall horrible experience dealing with the rep and staff at this store. Mike especially and Pat should be avoided, being charged additional $300. Liars, and given run around for 3 over months. Went in on black Friday 2016, and bought 2 pixels on black Friday promotion of Pixel for $10 a month, and Pixel XL for $20 a month. Phones were on back order, when picked up was told promo takes a couple months to occur being a billing credit. After few months billing credit came off of Pixel, but not XL. Since March have been trying to get resolved. To be honest not top priority, would inquire, told they would look into as well as fix and get back to me, a few weeks go by when I realized they didn't get back to me and would call back in. Things told Mike only works a couple days, may be in Newtown store, would have to contact our regional rep, and so it went. Finally in July, was told the promotion has been getting applied(was on Pixel, not on XL), my response was it has not been, and then he pivoted and stated that would only have been applied with a trade. A trade was never part of any conversation, asked him if that was noted in the account-response was only can see last 3 months you would have to call Verizon. From there went on saying there would be no notation, customer would have to bring to attention when picking up a phone that was back order. With that I was done. In the end, was lied to, never truly helped to resolved, attempted to have turned around on me, and will be charged at least $300 more than should...
