Only giving 2 stars because the food actually tasted good, which I can’t even believe after witnessing how little the staff seems to care, as well as how dirty the place was. I love chipotle and was super excited to see one opening in Buffalo! However I was very disappointed at the service and cleanliness. The people barely talked to us and the communication even between the workers was terrible. There was only 1 person on the make line the whole time we were there, which there easily could’ve been other people helping. I looked behind the make line to see a bunch of teenagers just standing there chatting with eachother. Also, every other chipotle I have been to, they mark on top of the burrito or bowls with what you order, so the person at the register can ring up accordingly. They did not do that here. When we got to the register it was a snarky “what did you order?!” I don’t understand why you wouldn’t just save yourselves time and have a streamlined system like every single other chipotle does with writing the orders on top with sharpie. After my mom & I sat down to eat, I then realized how dirty everything was. The drink cooler next to the register was full of crumbs and was barely stocked. The make line was disgusting & there was food spilled everywhere. As I sat eating, I watched them making other people’s food and it was so careless. Slapping a bunch of stuff on and completely overflowing burritos to the point they were breaking open and had to be wrapped in a 2nd tortilla, and filling bowls so much that they couldn’t even close the lid, there was literally sour cream & guac spilling out of the bowls. So disgusting. I’m glad my mom & I had someone halfway decent on the make line so these things didn’t happen to our food. (I understand maybe some people would appreciate the super full burritos / bowls because who doesn’t love extra food, but the way the stuff was spilling out just seems dirty and unprofessional to me). It literally seems like none of these workers have been taught measurements/portions. I used to work at 2 different food places back in high school and they were always super strict on measurements/portions. I feel like if there was an inspector at this chipotle they would get flagged for so many things. They were also sitting there eating little containers of rice right in front of the make line. Not only all of this, but as I was finishing up eating, I saw more people come in line to order. And again, only 1 kid on the makeline, he even asked another person to come help and the other kid’s excuse was “well I’m busy bagging chips”. And they weren’t even low on chips from what I could tell. Any person with common sense in food/customer service knows the customer always comes first. If there’s any sort of a line I think it’s common sense that if what you’re doing isn’t urgent, you go help on the makeline. Not only that, but there were THREE other people standing by the register just talking. Like seriously people?! HELP THE CUSTOMERS. And I heard the one kid in the make line tell them MULTIPLE times he was almost out of white rice, brown rice, and beans. And they still continued to sit there and talk to eachother. He said it at least 3 times and nobody flinched. Absolutely ridiculous. I read all the other bad reviews on here too. Can’t believe there’s already such bad reviews for a brand new restaurant. Such a shame. And yes, I get that they’re new and only been open a couple weeks, but as others have already said, this goes WAY beyond just a couple minor hiccups from being a new business. Someone from corporate or something needs to come and get these workers into shape. Seems like all of them need to be properly trained/re-trained. I don’t think there was even a manager in the store while I was there today. I didn’t bother asking for one, but every single person working looked like a teenager. I don’t think a bunch of teenagers should be running a brand new chipotle all by themselves. If there was a manager on duty, I definitely couldn’t tell because every single person was...

Read moreNot what I had hoped. Understandable the wait was long. But mgmt should've found a alternate solution to the guy who thought it would be ok to literally order 12 burritos, waited extended due to this selfish cut off sleeve, sparkling jean pockets man-child. Parking is atrocious, Buffalo's finest mullet pit vipers caveman truck owners who weren't taught how to park basically took up entire lot. Ask anyone who knows me, I love Chipotle, if I had it my way I'd probably eat it everyday. Watched a employee literally make a burrito 2x the normal size I was excited to see my burrito balloon come to fruition just like that. Nope suddenly we get skimpy meegee who is slopping down meat and rice. This employee working the line, never says anything except what do I want on it. She pushes it down the line then in a really tone tells this young man (high school for sure) to get her some _. No please, no thanks. Just barks. I tell the guy I am so impressed with his ability to stand this fast paced work. He said a bunch of people already quit (day 3 open) Go to check out, no selection of beverages & besides the fountain the rest are warm. Pretty sure I saw the DM walk in and into the back. He's dressed im nice clothes, never stops to say anything to his troops. Now being in retail, I know just how motivating it feels to see my boss, my boss's boss roll their sleeves up & join the team. He didn't appear to be a leader of that caliper. Bummer bc I can foresee this location will have hiring issues/retention for multiple reasons. My rice was sticky, my steak had 0 flavor, my shell literally disintegrated in my hands. Guacamole cup was half empty, chips were chewy. The only redeemer was that kid's excitement to be a Chipotle employee. I'd give 10 team members for someone that excited to work & to not pop off on that rude woman next to him. Then add in the giant game killer was the hours later I spent either SITTING ON MY TOILET OR LAYING ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO MY TOILET ALL NIGHT WITH DIARRHEA & CRAMPS. I was so sick I missed 2 days of work. Absolutely classic food poisoning symptoms. I will never be back, I'd rather drive 35min away to get to another location, if I can stop obsessing about laying on a towel to try to rest with intense cramping & close enough to toilet. I'm sure this location will most likely do well, Buffalo has limited food options, good luck hopefully you don't end up on your bathroom floor calling...
