El Huichol Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Buffalo

The street tacos are unbeat!!! The Lengua is out of this world, the shrimp is amazing, the chorizo is great, the birria - isnt my taste, but still good vs others I've had. The Menudo soup is absolutely the best I've ever had. Ok.. so I just moved back from Minneapolis after 5 years (easily had Mexican 1+ times a week- I'd say I covered 95% of Mexican restaurants in Minneapolis), lived in Cali 3 years before that and ate Mexican food 3+ times a week. This restaurant is fantastic for street tacos, menudo, and everything else I tried. Definitely different style than Rancho Grande/Bugambilias.. different and in a good way. Delicious food and amazing service!

I've eaten there twice (lunch and supper) and already it's my favorite Mexican restaurant in greater Minnesota.

The chips arrive quickly and hot out of the fryer with fresh salsa. Everything we've tried has been delicious: quesabirria isn't to be missed, carne asada platillo was cooked perfectly, and tres amigos enchiladas all had delicious fillings and distinct sauces.

The restaurant is simply decorated and clean (including bathrooms). Service is exceptional considering how new the restaurant is. We've had the same server both times, and she's excellent. The manager Angel checked on our meal and made us feel welcome. El Huichol is definitely a...

This place has by far the most amazing refried beans and Spanish rice I've ever had! I had the Tres Amigos Enchilada's and it was absolutely amazing! The prices were good, the food was great, and the beers are reasonably priced for the size that you get which is pretty big! The complementary chips and salsa was delicious and the chips were hot and the salsa had great taste to it and not too hot for the whole family! The staff was super friendly and very helpful with helping explaining some dishes that I did not know. We will definitely be going back again, I highly recommend this place, especially if you like really good...
