Read moreSometimes keeping it simple is the key, and CCMM certainly leans into that. From the lack of a traditional menu (there's only 3 options, and they're painted on the wall) to the simple ingredients on the smash burger and chicken sandwich, it's simple.
The burger isn't the best burger I've ever had, or the fanciest, but it absolutely dominates in the category it's in. It's greasy, it's cooked perfectly, it has all the great characteristics of smash burgers, and the burger sauce is awesome. It's a burger you crave, for sure. The chicken sandwich initially looked burnt but it wasn't at all, it was juicy and tender, and I think the color was just due to the manner of how it's spiced/cooked. The fries were crunchy even after driving home and the serving size was totally reasonable for one person (the opposite of a Five Guys quantity).
Lastly, the owner is clearly passionate, asking every customer if they've been before and then sharing the background of the menu/story of the business with any newcomers. It just adds to the experience and makes you like it before you've even tried it. I can see this being a frequent go-to for locals, especially after a couple drinks at a nearby spot. The fact that a burger and fries is only $13.50 is another plus....
Read moreMy daughter and I stopped in to cluck Cluck Moo Moo because there was no parking spaces in front of Rock Burger. I must say that was divine intervention. I was a little taken back that two burgers and one large fry was $35. I didn't have quite enough so I took off the fries and just ordered the burgers. I believe it was the owner or the manager that asked about trying his sauce and it was then when I told him I had to cancel my fries. not only did he give us the fries but he loaded the bottom of the bag with fries abundantly. That was a nice surprise. The best part of the situation this places burgers are amazing I like that the fact that my bacon was cooked with a nice crunch you can actually tell that this was real ground beef and not Patty meat the vegetables on my burger lettuce tomatoes and onions was fresh and crisp and the seasoning on the actual burgers was delicious .I would definitely order from here again the next time I'm on that side of town and I will door Dash. I really believe this will be my preferred burger place. And after enjoying my meal it turns out that I would pay $35 for two burgers and...
