Main barista/owner or whoever the hell she was thought I was being rude all because I was asking specific questions about how there service worked since id never been there before. I may have been short with her in attempt to explain how I wanted my drink made, but i was never aggressive while asking. More so, it seemed like she was the one getting frustrated because she didn't known how to make a café aulait. I stood up for myself and showed my frustration, and was outspoken, and because of that she chose to kick me out. I have a feeling had I been white female she wouldn't have been intimidated by me. Wife was excited to get Jake's breakfast, had decent reviews online. We walk in 830am Sunday not too early and totally not busy and order 2 steak & egg breakfast sandwiches (theres only like 5 items on their menu). Anyways, the young man tells us they have no steak so can't make the steak and egg breakfast sandwhich. Very disappointing, won't be going back. How do you run out of the main ingredient of one of the few items on the menu and how are you out of it by 830am. Either management is really bad and can't manage inventory or the workers are lazy and lying because they don't want...

Helpful and friendly staff.

The breakfast sandwich is a 5 star sandwich. 2 eggs fried to perfection (medium yolks). Layers and layers of melted American cheese and plenty of whatever meat you decide to go with. Definitely a guilty pleasure. The cold brew coffee was good. Definitely a lighter roast with a more fruity flavor.

4 star review because my wife said the pancakes were "good, not amazing" (she's a pancake connoisseur 😂) and I prefer my coffee darker and richer.
