We were excited to try this place so we came downtown. We walked in and waited for several minutes - not an employee to be seen. My daughter decided to use the restroom while we waited, which took several more minutes. Finally without an employee in sight we decided to go somewhere else because we didn’t have all day. As we walked out the employee finally came out and yelled “excuse me if you’re gonna use the bathroom you have to buy something”. We tried to explain that we were going to, but there was no one to seat us so we decided to go somewhere else. With a ton of attitude she yelled back “well I’m the bartender and the cook so…” In which case we really didn’t want to stay because clearly she was already overwhelmed by the few customers she had.
Reply to owner: If she would have just apologized for keeping us waiting and explained nicely we would have been inclined to stay. The fact that her first reaction was to yell at us without hearing us out was the issue. You don’t want someone making your food whose angry at you from the start. Tone and attitude matter even when things...
Read moreThe wait was incredible insane when we went there. The place had around 15 people in total and no one was ordering food from what I saw since people were coming and going but we still waited for our food. Our food took around 45 mins for just 3 wraps. Our waitress kept saying that it was "coming since there's 1 person in the kitchen" but it would've been great knowing before hand so we didn't have to waste time. I waited for an hour for 3 wraps whilst looking around- no one ordered food in between. The waitress was so unattentive and seemed like just because she got her tip she'd move on to the next customer. Completely ridiculous and not worth coming here. Both blonde waitresses were taking shots and drinking on the side which is so unprofessional. Absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful of a place! 6/13. Only giving it 2 stars cause the chef did a good job but the customer service was...
Read moreOne of the kindest bartenders I’ve ever met. This bar had a fantastic selection of beers. We enjoyed our drinks while watching basketball and hockey. Since I’m not very familiar with sports, I asked a few questions, and the bartender was incredibly patient—explaining everything slowly and clearly, knowing I was a foreigner. When I used a translator, he spoke more slowly to help me understand and even told me my English was great, which really made my day. He stayed friendly and welcoming the entire time we were there, and even came over to say goodbye when we were leaving. His kindness made me want to stay in Buffalo one more day. Also, I have to say—he had a great beard! (And yes, I used a translator...
