Do not go here if you believe everyone should have equal rights. The bouncer/security told my friend he could not get in because of his timberland boots, but then proceeded to let in 4 girls who were wearing boots. The dress code posted up states, NO BOOTS. Not, no boots for guys or mentioning the type of boots. If you are going to ban boots and have a dress code, then the rules should be followed by EVERYONE. Unfortunately this facility condones discrimination and sexism among their customers. Furthermore This bar's actions reflect a deeper issue of sexism, as it seems to treat women as objects to attract more customers, rather than as individuals deserving of equal treatment. By allowing women in despite their boots violating the dress code, while denying entry to men for the same reason, it shows that the dress code is selectively enforced, likely with the underlying assumption that the presence of women will benefit the bar's business. This creates a harmful dynamic where women are treated less as patrons and more as a tool to increase the appeal of the venue. If these are policies you support then by all means attend this bar. But if you do not support acts of discrimination I urge you to not attend.
There is a dress code posted on the door that does not specify what kind of boots. It just says NO BOOTs. When I asked the security and bouncer to specify the dress code his response was "i don't care." While looking at other reviews it's seems to be a pattern of insensitive, rude and unfair behavior toward customers. My comment on this bar's sexist motives still stands.
Edit: how convenient that you can't...
Read moreObserved the owner racially profile a guy who he targeted. I say targeted because the customer was way towards the back of the line and the owner walked back there and he told him he couldn’t get in because he had ripped jeans…but his jeans weren’t ripped at all. Many were puzzled as to how blatant his racist act was towards him. I would NEVER spend a dime with them. Me and my party immediately left because we would never support a business that express such disdain in a customer
In regards to your response below, maybe that was another victim because this incident happened last week Saturday and the guy never said a word and all you kept doin was shaking your head telling him to get out of line, not once did you have any further conversation that involved changing and coming back because nothing was wrong with his attire. Your mind was made up before even looking at the clothes to see no ripped pants were worn. Obviously this behavior is normal from YOU considering your response, and after further publicizing this incident and learning that this is common behavior from this establishment. Addressing your own biases may be a hard pill to swallow, but definitely worth looking into. I was offended and I was...
