I have been wanting to go here since they first opened, so I'm sad to leave a review like this. I am a tropical girl through and through and love me a good tropical theme bar. Unfortunately I was disappointed to say the least. We went the Friday of Memorial Day, and there was literally no one there. Other surrounding places were bumpin! So it seemed very strange that there were next to no patrons other than ourselves for the good 2 hours we were there. We kept wondering where all the people were! But maybe they knew something I didn't. The concept of this place is cool but it all seems kind of thrown together with the food, picnic tables, etc. We did not eat but by the looks of the area where the food is produced, I wouldn't want to order anything. I would stick to drinks only. It's on the "water" and has "sand" but lacks any sort of a true tropical/beachy atheistic and the Porta potties could at least be upgraded to the trailers. There are alot of nice places in that area and I don't think they can compete. At least not with a mature crowd. Im sure I'd go here if I was in my young 20s but this place does not live up to the hype. The bartenders were very nice but I...

Don't be alarmed though, the moment you need the bathroom you are expected to use 1 of 4 disgusting portapotties.
.... the vibes were weird. The bartender looked young and opened up our beer cans with the same pen she'd been using throughout the night. Nothing was clean. I didnt even bother to look at the food after observing the environment. I wouldn't trust it, and after reading other reviews, I'm grateful.
It was painful to see Riverworks across the water and know we could have made the better...

It's a good concept, to have a quick grab Mexican food and cold cocktail like margaritas and daiquiris waterside. The view is nice looking across the water at River works too. I didn't care for all the uneven surfaces ( fake grass carpeting) and plastic Adirondack chairs ( of which many are broken). A few simple up- grades along with permanent restrooms would be appreciated. Food was tasty and served pretty quick. it's a nice stop to hang out for a bit or meet up with some friends. The large over sized games are fun...
