The gentleman at the counter was professional, kind, and courteous. That is why I give it 2 stars. My meal consisted of ham and Swiss sandwich on a French roll Combined with the funky monkey smoothie. For myself and a guess that recommended this place my tab came to $48 plus a 20% tip. My sandwich measured 2 1/2 inches by at most 6". It was very thin and there was only about 2 pieces of meat and cheese on it. The French baguette was very flowery and dry to taste. My sides were a pickle and a few potato chips in a small cup. For me the meal was not as tasty as I would expected for a price tag for over $50. For others it would depend on their taste buds. The cafe has a quite store front atmosphere. I am a worldly traveler so what I say in reference to taste is based upon the many different places I've been. I did notice as you're standing in front of the register the sandwich selections on the wall had no price list. Overall the cafe has left me with a lack of desire to return for a second opportunity. I would have been greater satisfied with a sandwich from Publix and a coffee from Starbucks. I do wish the Cafe the best of success and hope my comments Are taken with understanding. Although I have not had every item on the menu, I would expect every item on the menu to be just as good as any other item on the menu. I say that because I see other reviews where a customer was told if they wanted to best sandwich they should have ordered something else.

Read moreI went to Antoinette’s Cafe today and had little to no idea what I wanted to get for myself and my wife. The barista (young person with red hair and glasses, I didn’t get a name in my distraction) was exceedingly accommodating and patient. My wife has several allergies, and the barista helped me navigate the menu while also sharing their favorites. I ended up getting my wife the smoothie they suggested and got myself my standard “let’s test out this cafe” order of a café mocha with an extra shot of espresso; the smoothie was executed perfectly and the mocha was exemplary. I will certainly be returning regularly, as I’m also excited to try their food items. Honorable mention to the older gentleman I presume to be the owner, who came out and was on standby for my complicated ordering and assisting in preparing my order. I see that there are some reviews that disparage his customer service, but as a food service professional, I recognize that attention to speed and execution of an excellent product as good...
Read moreA short google search of “Buford Coffee Shops” brought me here. It was easy to find, as soon as I drove up I noticed “cafe parking “ signs , nice touch as it really make the cafe stick out in comparison to the other shops on the strip. Walking in I was instantly greeted by the soothing sounds of jazz, not really background music, but also not too loud. It was perfect. The man working was kind and took my order promptly, the menu had a lot of options from pressed juices to sandwiches, but I was here for one reason: the avocado toast & a cup of coffee. I ordered my toast and an iced salted Carmel latte. SO. GOOD. ! Coffee is strong if that’s your thing (it’s mine) , and the toast was perfect! Whole grain toast and trust me , they are not skimpy on the avocado!!! Lightly dusted with seasonings, but in harmony! I sat down and enjoyed my breakfast in their space. It’s beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The decor and jazz together create a nice ambiance. Highly recommended for those who enjoy the simple...
