I was there and order 2 micheladas and chilaquiles and a caldo de marisco and 2 marlin tacos and 2 tacos of tripas, My micheladas were great chips and salsa amazing and their chorizo dip was delicious 🤣 I was like mmmm this is starting good🤡 then We got our food🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 as soon as I got the marlin tacos the stinch on our table was disgusting Usually marlin fish doesn't stink at all, but the smell was horrible theres no way that they didnt smell it, I took a bite and I almost vomit🤢🤢 my husband said let me try them he took a bite and couldnt even eat his food after my daughter couldn't eat her food because of the stinch, the waitress came and saw that we were ready for our bill and asked us if we did not liked our food, I told her dont you smell how horrible those tacos smells, she was am sorry.... But managers assume that, we are saying something about their food to get free food, thats not my case but if am paying I want to get what am paying for, she did not offered to take away the tacos from the bill we paid 108 for food that we did not even touch only 2 bites to the same taco, I believe that your Marlin fish was rotten or it was left out for days because theres no way a fish smells that bad specially the Marlin fish is not as stinky as most of the fishes, and you still bring it out to our table come on I understand you wanna make a profit but this is not the way, I was sick from my stomach for 5 straight days, as soon as I smelled food I was puking I went to the doctor and she told me I had food poising on top of paying 108 dls for food that we did not eat I paid my medical...
Read moreThis place was absofreakinglutely amazing! We walked in an hour from closing and were greeted very fondly. We were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. The decor was lively and the ambiance was fun.
The service was a little slow but we had one server for about 7 tables on a Tuesday night. I can see why she'd be slightly overwhelmed. We weren't in a rush so we didn't care.
The free chips and salsa were great. The chips were warm and not oily. The salsa you could tell was made fresh. I mean the mild one had actual chunks of tomato in it. Probably the best I've had in quite some time.
The best margarita I've had in a while. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Just the right amount of tequila. I was pleased that there was a dried plum in it. I guess I hadn't realized this was a style of Mexican candy. I thought it was just Asian (I'm from Hawaii and my all time favorite candy is li hing mui) so I learned something new.
I got a shrimp taco and an Al Pastor burrito. The meats were great. Flavored well and cooked perfectly. The guacamole in the burrito was freshly made. There were chunks of avocado! I love the idea that they hand-make a lot of their items. The tortillas are great and watching the lady make...
Read moreFood and margarita were good! However, we were told the mega margarita was 35 dollars. When the bill came, it said 55 dollars. They apologized and said we should not have been told the 35 dollar price by the waitress. You would assume they would honor the price they said, specially if they chose not to print the price anywhere... they can not come in and say nvm it is actually 55 not 35 after we had already finished our drinks and meals. The manager was rude about it and claimed it does not need to be posted because everyone knows the price is 55. If the waitress working there did not know how much the mega margaritas was, how did they expect people visiting from another state would know this???. on top of that they were charging us an extra 25 dollars for tip for my son, my wife, and myself. I did not do the math but it appears they automatically add a charge of 20-25% tip since our total went from 85 to 108 dollars for two $10 dollar "special" plates, a taco, and the "mega margarita". In the end, we paid the total minus the forced tip they put on there for a total of 85 dollars. They got their 55 dollars for their margarita but have lost customers. Will not be coming back to this...
