Our family traveled through Vegas to the Grand Canyon to Laughlin Nevada and we were staying at the Harrah’s Casino. Everything was so different from the last time we came through with all these new changes, I understand what people have to go by the safety regulations and everything so we started looking at reviews because we wanted a good meal on our way out !! We come out on many weekends to enjoy this beautiful Colorado river and the lake! I googled steak and pasta within 50 miles! A few options popped up we chose Mohave steakhouse! I have never had a meal in a restaurant where I can say there was not one mistake that I would wanna point out or even consider! Our server Ally Was the sweetest and her helper, I’m not sure if you guys called them their bussers or what not but she is the one that got us seated and Greeted with a smile, got drinks and suggested a few things from What’s on the menu that were outstanding! I have asked her if she was our server and she said no but I will be helping to start your Dining and she stated her name is Miranda if we needed any help! She was on top of everything ,never did any of our refills go under half a glass she made us a drink that was so amazing it was called the Mohave Tea ,Which she suggested because it was refreshing and I wanted to relax a bit while we had dinner and going back to the hotel to all the madness at the casino! If anyone wants a good meal go check these people out they are so On top of everything! Our waitress and her helper We’re a great team as they communicated about everything down to putting appetizers right away to the very last of splitting the checks everything was on point! We did not have a reservation and as the hostess which was the girl that got our drinks Miranda stated it was no problem at all and we got seated right away even being a party of seven. A lot of places when we come through get aggravated because we have a larger group but not this place they were so welcoming!! The food was amazing and you can tell nothing was frozen. Everything that was recommended was to the TEA! Literally the “Mohave Tea” amazing!!! 💯👏👏 We Want to thank our incredible server and her helper for our wonderful experience and made us feel welcome and I also wanted to point out we do look a little to see if they social distance and stay clean , I noticed the hostess wiping menus down ,wiping tables down throughout the time we were there!! Keep up the good work ,we will be back and tell all our friends that pass through! Even though times are hard right now you wouldn’t have even knew it on their faces of any distress because of the attitude and the atmosphere of this place leads on!! Will be back in a couple weeks!!! Don’t lose sight of your amazing staff ever!! It’s what...
Read moreMy husband and I want to thank you Mojave Steakhouse! We had a wonderful prime rib dinner tonight. The prime rib was tender and actually prepared to our liking. The service was phenomenal. Everything about our experience was great. Too bad it wasn’t at your restaurant! It would have been if a simple request could have been met. We were going to go to dinner there tonight, and due to a pinched nerve in my back we asked for a booth. Unfortunately, your hostess said we either had to have a table, or we had to sit in the bar in one of the booths with log backing. See the problem is despite the fact I have a bad back she couldn’t sit us in a normal booth because, “ That’s not how she does her job.” (Her words, not mine) She said unfortunately for us the party she just sat was sat in a booth, and it would be unfair to the other waitress if she sat us in a booth too. We were trying to figure out our next move, when she offered a booth in the bar to us. After seeing it, and the log backing I knew I would not be at all comfortable, so we decided to leave. I feel as if by us sitting in a booth overwhelmed the booth waitress she could have traded our party with a table waitress. You wanna know what’s really not fair to the waitress? We are really easy to wait on. We tip very well, and would have tipped even more had we known we were just a little bit of an inconvenience to our server. But, I just want to say thank you for being fair. Because, the restaurant we ended up at was great, and unlike Mohave Steakhouse we will be retuning. If it wasn’t for the fact your hostess had to be fair, we would have never...
Read moreSo, we had dinner tonight at Mohave Steakhouse. The food was acceptable. Could certain things about dinner have been different, sure, but overall dinner was what was expected. There are two things that were somewhat unexpected. Never in my life have I ever paid $20.00 for a margarita. Yes, we each ordered a "Cadillac Margarita" which adds Grand Marnier to the mix. However, the Grand Marnier never made it to our drinks. I know this because Grand Marnier has a very distinct flavor and is very recognizable in a margarita. So, ok, our drinks were not what we expected. Moving on. We were presented with our check. Apparently, if you don't bring cash to pay your bill you will have to pay an additional $4 or $5 on top of what your bill is. Now, I get the problematic naysayers here. Well, if you can afford to go out to dinner what is another $4 or $5? In reality, the dollar amount is not the issue. The issue is that just because you don't carry cash, well now you have to pay more. This is a new phenomenon that started a couple of years ago. Seemingly every business, every entity wants to use "tap to pay" but when you try to do that, this business wants to add $5 to your bill. My answer was, not gonna happen, and I'll tip my waitress the way I see fit. And I won't pay you extra money for me paying my bill. I won't be back, and I won't recommend your business because of this...
