Walgreens — Local services in Bullhead City

This has been my Pharmacy for four years and truly it is the worst pharmacy in the history of pharmacies on so many levels. The phone system is horrible beyond words. You're on hold for about 30 minutes before they hang up on you and then you have to call back. In 2024 how this is an automated is just beyond me. And then it's the luck of the draw with some of the new people they have they're very nice and accommodating customer service friendly but for the most part they treat customers horribly and I feel so bad for seniors that needs serious medicines. If I can't get regular ones then what is their experience like?

I am always patient and nice with them and have refrained from writing a bad review on Google until today. It's the holidays, and I've learned to always call for refills about three days early and then I have to babysit the order making sure it's processed correctly. My dr. sent the order right on time as always for years and years, I phoned them to make sure everything was ready because I'm leaving town for the holidays. I was assured that they would be ready. I get there and I'm told that one of my prescriptions was denied. Not true. I said with the smile it was not denied it was simply received too soon to fill. So what did they do? They deleted it entirely and then had to go find it again.

I was literally on my way out of town but the nice guy at the drive-through said he could get it ready for me in about 30 minutes. It was ready in 10 minutes. I go back to the drive-through and it's a different guy but also Customer Service friendly.

I take my prescriptions and leave. I get all the way to Vegas where I'm spending the holidays with family and they only filled one script half of the count that I've been receiving for years and years and years.

I get hung up on twice, invest 45 minutes only to get one of the rudest nastiest personalities you have the misfortune of getting. She flat out yelled at me and told me that I was wrong that this is what the doctor wanted and that I needed to call the doctor on Monday.

When you look at the doctors written instructions it indicates that they made a mistake and didn't give me the full quantity just by the instructions alone. You know, kind of like the way you write out a check ... you indicate the amount in a number but then you write it out to make sure they match. So now I will be sure to look at the medicines before I leave. I know that when I give my doctor a call on Monday they themselves are gonna be ticked off. They'll re-issue the script for the half that they didn't fill. And then I will have to drive an hour and a half to Bullhead and an hour and a half back to Vegas so that I have what I need for the holidays. Remember, that won't be including the time that I have to spend on the phone and getting hung up on to make sure that the medicine is ready for pick up. This is the worst Walgreens of any Walgreens I have used cross country, but it is the only one in Bullhead so it's kind of like you need them.

There's other alternatives with Amazon pharmacy for example. And they'll deliver it to you. Most people I know if they treated customers the way this Walgreens treats customers they would be fired. Look into alternatives. You're not hostage like you...

I was in walgreens about 2 hrs ago and the paper was priced at 9.99 cleary under the paper,when I went to buy it she tried to over charge me.She told me that they marked it down a day early,I am a senior and live off a small check,so when she tried to over charge me I got mad and she said I attacked her and I called for the manager to stop treating this elder so bad the manager came out of the back and said for me to get out now in a very mean voice instead of doing his job as a manager and talk to me about the problem,he just told me to get out now.I have heart problems and my chest is still has a pain for the cashier attacking me and they try tell get a credit card for them so she had the person in front of me do an app for credit,why do they ask for every ones personal info,WHAT ARE THE REALLY DOING WITH YOUR INFO.I will never never never use the store again,bewade seniors they will over charge you and when you catch them doing it they through you out,I have not been treated that bad in a very long long time went next door to cvs and they where priced lower and were very kind so if your that close just turn in the next driveway and don't be treated like the bottom...

I WILL NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY AGAIN

This was my favorite pharmacy in town until today that i went right after getting out of the hospital to drop off three prescriptions they took for ever when they weren’t even busy at all then came back after the hour to pick them up i got there and the girl for some how they didnt want to give us the medicine we waited for like 10 mins then after we drove off i noticed we only received 2 out the 3 i called and was on hold for 20 -30 mins i let them know they missed one of them and the girl was really rude and she asked you want to come pick it up today and i said yes ill go in an hour then when i went back she said itll be ready in an hour i said can i just get the prescription back so i can take it to another pharmacy then she asked me when did you dropped off the prescription i said earlier with the other 2 she went back and looked for it. I went straight to CVS in Bullhead City they were really nice and helpful and they had it...
