Look, I hate to leave negative reviews. My family and I have been coming here since it opened. We drive from Havasu to come here.
The restaurant has absolutely gone down in quality.
Food that used to be delicious, fresh, and of quality has degraded to skimpy beef portions, spoiled chicken, and soggy food.
The interior was once new, repaired, clean, and welcoming? Now weathered and moldy ceilings from a water event that happened several years ago (they never fixed it). The benches are broken, the tables are always sticky, the ac doesn't keep up anymore.
The staff are friendly enough, but I can see it in their eyes- they are not proud of their work.
I used to tout this place as the crown jewel of Bullhead. I'm a customer who was willing to pay more to keep these doors open, but I'm not anymore-and im worried someone will get really sick eating here.
My family has consistently gotten very sick eating here (mold allergies, and possible cross contamination from other guests, and food poisoning) for the last few years. We always hoped that they'd turn it around, we always gave an excuse as to why this place is the way it is.
My last visit? We showed up for what should have been prime time to visit. Just before lunch (aiming to get food hot at it comes out) on a friday. We were put in a dirty sticky booth with a broken bench, under the mold bubble in the ceiling, and the food? Mildly hot, mostly spoiled- I wouldn't be surprised if it was reheated food in some cases, and spoiled but cooked anyway in other cases.
The hibachi bar was without beef the entire time of my visit (the 3rd time in a row).
The visit time is not enforced but the signage definitely doesn't make me feel welcome in a place i have so many memories for. Sure it'd be annoying if I was blocking other customers but this place is not the bustling place it once was. Only 5 tables in the building were occupied on my visit, Though I do remember seeing people sleeping in the booths before- so I suppose that's a mild improvement?
There is anti wastage verbage also posted - but when they are serving food that makes people sick its a concern. Food that used to be fine and safe you cant really trust anymore, and I don't want my family finishing food that on the outside seemed fine but on consumption revealed to be a hazard. No reasonable person is taking a whole bunch of food they have no intention of finishing and indicates to me that I'm not the only one looking at my general-soggy-chicken like "bruh. I dont want this. Lemme hit up that wendys"
We used to come every week, several families, we'd meet at the house, and drive down to Bullhead and grab a few tables before hitting the 'turtle beach' with the kids or going to the Wasteland etc. I am ashamed of this place. I CANT bring my friends here, and my last visit here made me drive straight home to Havasu to then be sick for 3 weeks. Went from weekly, to monthly, to quarterly... well.. I'm done. I'll check in next year to see if its worth my time anymore, but whole sale- I'm done. This restaurant is not special, its the time I spend with my family that is- and there are other places to be.
TLDR - I'll update this next year 07/2026 IF things have improved. Should this review remain unchanged? Then my family of 7 has abandoned a decade and a half of nostalgia based patronage because we refuse to continue supporting this business on the basis of quality and safty. (And let me tell ya- we have pretty...

Not everybody gets along. As we are ordering and getting our drinks, no questions are asked about seating arrangements. A lady takes an aggressive approach to our group and shows us to our single table. The table we are given is pretty crowded, and in the back along with a table in the corner no more than two feet away. We decide that we will split the group up and take the table no more than TWO feet away. Everyone gets their food, and sits down getting ready to eat. Here comes the same lady who showed us to our table, she doesn’t ask, she tells us that we have to move back to the big table. So we apologize and we are getting our stuff and moving. This wouldn’t have been a problem if she didn’t grab our plates for us. She moved our plates for us even though we were obviously getting them ourselves. I guess we weren’t moving fast enough, because then she directs a two pair group to the table we were just sitting at. Immediately you can see how uncomfortable this pair is. They did not want to be seated this close(literally two feet away from our big group) they even thought they were being seated at a different table and tried to sit down, but they were again directed towards the back right next to my group. I would understand that they would need to sit right next to my group if the place was packed. But there was several open booths and tables everywhere. Still left a generous tip. This was the worst experience I’ve had at this restaurant. We’ve been to this restaurant several times before, splitting the group every time. We never had a problem before, what would make us think we would have one now. I think I can speak for my group and the two gentlemen seated next to us when I say this felt very uncomfortable for social distancing. This wasn’t a pleasant experience for us or the gentlemen. I love this restaurant, and I will continue going. I just hope that young lady doesn’t ruin anyone’s...
Read moreInconsistent: (two visits within a month, described below) Visit #1 - Came here around an hour before closing, and they were slowing down cooking items, but I asked and they said they would cook them for us fresh. They brought spicy kung pao chicken and vegetables and fried shrimp to our table to compensate not having it out at the buffet for us to grab. This was fantastic service. The food was great.
Visit #2 - Came here around 7:00PM - Nothing was fresh this time, period. Most of the other types of chicken were cold and hard, and the coconut shrimp and fried shrimp were gone. It wasn't busy either, maybe 2-3 people walking around at a time. When I asked about the kung pao chicken being gone this time, the staff walked me over to what was labeled as "kung pao chicken" but.. it wasn't the same dish? This new dish is labeled the same but it is basically chicken and onions(a lot of onions..) with no real flavor. No spice..(in a kung pao?..) or other vegetables.
I was then literally shrugged off by the man who seemed to be the manager of sorts and he walked away from me as I was just simply asking him about it(not heated or anything), and he was the one who brought me the fresh food to our table the last visit. I was curious about the change in the dish because It was VERY good! It is my favorite dish at nearly every chinese restaurant and I will admit it. I was just here recently(2 weeks prior or so..).
Overall, I understand supply and demand, and if they changed the dish to something else there was obviously a reason, but the food and the visit this time was just not great.
At this time we are not sure if we will be back. No one is a fan of 50/50 odds with a 16$ buffet + drink cost, especially if the food isn't...
