First visit since Rick's took over the location from Chicken Pantry. Overall it was a good experience with friendly service and great food. I had the catfish sandwich which was flavorful and fresh tasting. I love that there's a roll of paper towels on the table. So giving 5 stars, but just barely. I do, however, have some suggestions which I'm sure I am not the first to bring up. When you walk through the first set of doors you are overwhelmed with bright paper signs with all sorts of notices such as; No large bills: only Visa/Mastercard: no outside drinks; rights to refuse service and so forth. I actually had to stop dead in my tracks to try to read it all. While I get that the idea is to prevent issues, it's somewhat of a turn off for first impressions. Also, I may be old fashioned but I like an actual menu to look at , not a QR code to scan. While I may know to use that app, some less technologically literate folks may not and it can be intimidating. Finally, when I was asked about how I wanted my fries, the last thing I would ever think is that it would be an upcharge to choose a seasoning. No where on the menu does it say that choosing Rick's secret seasoning would cost more nor was it mentioned until it was printed on my bill. Funny thing is I almost asked if it costs to choose but I thought it would be a silly question to ask to a server. Can't you absorb the cost of a couple pinches of seasoning? Nonetheless, the Rick's seasoning is spot on. I'll be back because I want to try...

There is such a country, home, diner feel to the place. Owners remember the names of their "regulars" and endless coffee and breakfast specials make this a hidden gem. Don't think that a good southern style breakfast is where they stop, they got some great grub & a nice live music venue in the evenings. Their food is made to order and won't break the bank. They even have a punch card. If you are lookin' for a fun night of karoake with friends, def visit on a Thurs @5pm for some fun. Friday night is open mic night @5pm and every other Sat is karoake night at 5pm as well. It is a singer's paradise! Sat @6pm they have live music as well. Redneck Rick's maybe be a mom'n pop but that don't mean that they are behind the times. They do offer Door Dash & Uber Eats options. (Doordash for beer & wine orders.) Their specials change WEEKLY and they are closed on Mon & Tues. Paper menus are available at the door. Take one home with ya and put it on your fridge for them days you just don't feel like cookin'. Just an FYI, if ya order pancakes, they are fluffy, thick and the size of the entire plate! Def give this place a shot and enjoy the evening fun. They will not disappoint! They offer a discount for cash as well. Don't forget your punch card! You will revisit again & again... I...
Read moreWe read a lot about how good this place was so we couldn't wait to try! We went for dinner on a Saturday. They had karaoke going.... loud! Hard to order or conversate. She got the ribs platter with okra and Mac and cheese. $17. I got chopped steak gravy, onions and mushrooms, mashed spuds and deep fried corn. $13.50 The corn was good. That's where it ends. She got 3 ribs, 2 had meat on them, Mac and cheese had no cheese. Okra was frozen bagged food supply that had no flavor. My mashed spuds were the worst instant spuds I have EVER had. Tasteless. The chopped steak was OK because it was covered in gravy, onions and mushrooms. Oh.... and my sweet iced tea was light on the tea. Sugar water basically. To top it off we were going to get $ back by using upside and the card was declined so we didn't even get the $7 back! This will be my last review on this place because we will never go again.
After owner reply: I'm certain the box those mashed spuds were made from said: "real potatoes" but, If those mashed potatoes were from real potato, peeled, boiled and mashed in store....I'd be even more embarrassed!! Definitely the consistency of instant, only less flavor and solid white, absolutely no real potato. That okra was sysco food if I ever tasted any. Definitely not fresh in house made. A full rib rack with sides at Woody's is $21.50 I stand...
