This place is a gem in Bunnel Florida. Trust me I know. I'm from New Jersey where I think we have the best pizza in the entire country. But that's just my opinion. Terranova definitely reminds me of an old school Jersey pizza establishment. This pizza is top notch! Crispy, tasty mozzarella and the sauce is superb. That's a main issue with most pizza places in Florida, hard to find great quality sauce. My mother had the amazing Greek salad which is huuuuuge! She had to take the rest home. The Feta cheese was really fresh. I had the Caesar salad which was also pretty big, but I finished it. But I was not able to finish my personal pizza which I took home as well. The staff was friendly and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and always checked back with us if we needed anything without our asking. When the weather is not as hot the outside deck area under the tree is so beautiful to hang out at. I noticed some of the 1 star reviews were complaining about how long it was taking for orders to come out. I think customers should try and understand before writing a review that in a lot of these small businesses after the pandemic they are having a lot of staffing issues. We waited about 30 to 45 ourselves, but we enjoyed a few drinks and great conversation. This place has that very relaxed and cozy feeling. I highly recommend Terranova for takeout and dine in when you can. But come a little early because it can get busy. If your in the Flagler Beach or Palm Coast area you have to stop in. šŸ•šŸ•šŸ„—šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼

We recently chose to patronize Terranova's to celebrate our son's birthday, via a family dinner with our immediate family of 12. This was the first time dining at Terranova's and we were not disappointed! I called ahead to reserve a table in their private dining area for our family. From the first contact of making that call to the end of paying the bill, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday evening to a bustling restaurant. We were seated promptly, as our table was ready for us. Our waitress came, took our drink and appetizer order. The garlic knots were delicious with loads of garlic butter! šŸ‘šŸ¼. Their bread and dipping sauce also good (although extra virgin olive oil and herbs is our preferred oil choice). Their menu had plenty of options with reasonable prices. Our meal came out correctly and did not disappoint there either. Their lighter menu portion sizes were ample and very reasonably priced, with leftovers to take home. The food was good and a welcome change from the "chain Italian food" alternative. 😊 There location is convenient - right off of US 1 in Bunnell. They have a lovely patio for outdoor dining with a nice ambiance under the light oak canopy, which we will keep in mind for future visits. It is always nice to support local, family owned businesses.

I was on my way back from an appt at Church on the Rock and needed FOOD. Terranova was the first place that popped up as a friendly looking spot, so I turned in, thinking I'd have a slice of pizza before heading back to Silver Springs. When I got seated in the wooded dining area inside and handed a one page menu, the first thing I saw was sandwiches and my mind went back to the Grinders we used to get in Valparaiso, IN, outside of Chicago. Oh my that veg grinder was amazing, and my taste buds needed something similar... Now. Even though they didn't have anything like it on the menu, my waitress assured me it would be no problem to toast up a sandwich that was basically their veggie pizza without sauce on a bun. I smooshed it to create the proper grinder like flavor and it was DELICIOUS! And they only charged me $7! I got a side of fries and an unsweetened iced tea, and my late lunch was not only satisfying for my tummy, but for my tastebuds and a trip down memory lane, too. I'll definitely come back here when I'm in the area! CHEERS!

Called ahead and was told they had a gluten free menu.

They don't.

They have a 10" GF crust and one GF pasta. I wanted to order the Terrenova Special on the GF crust that I had decided on when I had looked at the menu online prior to going. But it isn't offered that way, so I would have to pay .75 for each of the 9 toppings. Yep, $18 for a 10" pizza (the 12" special is $12). Then the waitress said it couldn't be done that way either because they have a limit to the number of toppings you can order.

So warning to any GF people reading this: No, you can not have the Terranova's Special.

She then went off into the back to see if she could "sweet talk" someone into a lower price, (for what I'm not sure, after she told me they couldn't do the special because it was over the number of allowable toppings) and was gone a long time.

That made me wonder how much more I would have to pay for the GF pasta if I wasnt willing to pay $18 for a 10" pizza that was not what I wanted in the first place. Would a GF pasta meal be $22 when the regular one was $15, but I could only have Chicken Parmesan and not the Veal because there was a limit on the marinara I could order? I knew by then the alfredo was right out for me. It sounded good, so there was obviously not a chance I would be getting alfredo.

Our waitress never did come back, so eventually my wife and I got up and left. We told another server that we were leaving, and they asked who our server was and offered to go get her, but I wasn't sure what they would get her for. I was pretty sure she would figure out that we were gone eventually.

Can't comment on the food. Other reviews seem to indicate it's good.

P.S. Dear Terranovas, if your going to offer GF food for people with Celiacs disease, Hashimotos disease, and people with gluten intolerance, please don't make us feel like we are getting some vaguely over priced version of a kids menu with only two options. I would have preferred you told me you had no GF options when I...

The atmosphere: It was a cool night. They had live music outside. The bar was full and lively. Stereo typical authentic looking Italian restaurant from the 90s. +4

Maybe, we went on a bad day (Saturday evening), maybe alot of things. I wished we could've ordered from the girl that was on the phone. She knew the specials and made suggestions.

We only waited for about 40 minutes, which is average for small town.

4 people in our party. I asked about a special, after we were seated. Our waitress had to go ask about it, she didn't know anything about it. Unlike the waitress serving a nearby table, our waitress offered no suggestions.

The food was mediocre, at best. The bread they served was remarkable. Earning 1 star.

However, the wings were chewy. -1

My mom was unable to chew the veal parmigiana (said it was tough), ate everything else. The waitress asked if it was okay? Mom started talking and the waitress left, as if she was in hurry to do something else. -1

My sister-in-law had the house made Nanna Guilias lasagne. The outside noodles arrived hard as rock and the middle was chewy as if they used instant noodles. The waitress came over and asked if it was okay and again scurried away before, she could respond. -1

I ordered pizza. No one mentioned it was thin crust. From the photos it looked as if it would be hand tossed. Oh well. Toppings were fine. But the probability of me going back to eat their pizza is slim to none. -1

My wife had the baked combo dish. The same sauce smothered everything. She ate about 1/3 of it. 0

As we were waiting to be served, download the app to get a savings. It wasn't honored. But intriguing that they had an app...
