DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Extremely disappointed with this CPK, take the 10-15 drive and go to a different location, the one in Glendale or even Pasadena.
My partner and I came in on a Friday night after the movies expecting it to be busy and knowing there would be a wait. Sure enough, after 25 minutes we were seated (which was fine since we expected it) and about 15 minutes after another couple was seated near us.
Our server took our drink order and took a long time to come back for our actual food order. So long we never even refilled our drinks. Once the food order was placed he did not come back around us (only yelled from another table that the food order was in and would be coming). It took an extremely long time, as in the couple next to us received their food first. When I received my order my pasta was tougher than al dente (it was straight up crunchy). My partners bowl was supposed to have meat and didn't have any. When I let my server know about my food he told us that while he could put and order in again, it would take a long time and didn't recommend it.
As such we shared the bowl my partner ordered (the one that should have had meat but didn't have any). When our server said he would help handle the bill for all the issues we encountered, all he did was take off my meal (which he should because I literally didn't eat any of it) and an additional $1 and something cents. For reference CPK up charges over $3 for any protein so to see this was a slap in the face.
When the manager reached out to correct the issue, she was kind enough to send a NON VALID CARD for us to try again at the restaurant. Way to waste my time and money, thank you Michelle.
Never again. Trust me, you'll have a better experience at either the Glendale or Pasadena locations. (Our personal favorite is the one in the Arcadia mall but that's just because their servers are faster and more attentive and it's the mall so you can either shop or see a show...
Read moreMajor racial profiling. Sat me and my family at the far end. They walked us to our very small table. They said no booths were available and there were booths available, we clearly saw them as we walked to our tiny table (it was the size of a Starbucks square table enough room for your laptop and that's it). If our Server was attentive and cared about getting tipped believe me we would have been extremely generous. We're pretty generous to our waiters/servers because my husband and I know it's not an easy job we see how hard they work. We were very much profiled for being Hispanic. Service lagged and lacked at our 'table' while everyone else was treated like 5star world class customers. Overall not a good experience for my family. My pasta was a bit raw, ate what I could and boxed it to go. We only stayed because our child really wanted to eat there and we didn't want to ruin it for her. I'm obviously upset, but not much to do now, but hope that others know that if you're not "fancy" enough you'll be ignored and served until the very end. It's CPK for goodness sake and yet because my family isn't dressed to your liking doesn't mean you have the right to judge and leave us hanging. Like you guys!!! I had my kid who was hungry and looking forward to eating here. She was too tired of waiting she couldn't finish her food and had to box it and wait another 20-30mins to get our check, but 5 min. for the dude to charge it. I hope CPK reads this and if you delete don't worry I've made sure to screenshot and share on Social media. Obviously never stepping foot in...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience. When we arrived, 3 people had been waiting 15 minutes at the front desk just to get their name on the waiting list (6-8 tables were open). We waited with them another 10 minutes. Then the manager who had been staring at us the entire time from behind the bar (where she appeared to be drinking a cocktail) and scowling at us waddled over (she's obese and walking is averse to her). The first group asked if they could have a table and the manager barked at them rudely saying, "You'll just have to wait we have a fundraiser going on and we can't seat you." She then walked off. Her tone was disrespectful. The party ahead of us waited another 5 minutes then walked out. By this time others were waiting behind us. After another 5 minutes one of the servers came over and seated us. Meanwhile the manager was grabbing food in the pizza prep area and showing it into her mouth. Then she pulled out her cell phone and was talking on it with her back to the entrance where people once again were massed. At one point she shouted from one end of the bar to a server standing in the middle instead of walking over. If this sorry excuse for a manager has say in who is hired and fired, well we know then why she has a job. Our server did a good job and the food was OK. This CPK has definitely fallen off its perch since Ikea moved from across the street to several miles south. This manager needs...
