I've never had a poor experience shopping here. Whether online or in person. The associates are very nice/friendly. While some items are online exclusives, many of the items found online can be found in-store. So if you live in the L.A. area and can get to a physical location, I will always recommend that over online purchasing, for the convenience of being able to try things on and make sure you like them before purchasing. At least if you try it on and don't like it, there is no pressure to buy it, so no harm no foul.
For the other people complaining, you should read the return policy more carefully. Fashion Nova, since its inception, has NEVER given cash refunds for returns and has always clearly stated this. Just because a merchant has a policy you don't like, doesn't make it a "scam" lol that word gets thrown around so loosely nowadays that it holds no real power anymore. Forever 21 has a similar policy; both retailers were originally DTLA Fashion District-based before they became national brands. So if you return something, you do so with the understanding that you are either exchanging it for a different size, or getting a store credit toward a different purhase. I'm sure you can find SOMETHING you like if you keep an open mind. There will always come times where you buy something, try it out, and maybe you don't like the fit or cut or something else. That's fine. There is plenty of variety both in their stores and online. Otherwise just size up or down to the size you need (if they have it) and keep it pushing. They aren't going to refund you. Read moreOn November 1st, 2023 I made a purchase with Fashion Nova using the Afterpay payment method in the amount of $79.01 for three items. Upon receipt of goods 2 of the items were too small so I proceeded to the Fashion Nova website on 11/14 to return them. I paid for the return label and returned the items that did not fit by mail. There was no notification by Fashion Nova that the items were received. I had been checking with USPS to make sure the items were returned. It took logging in to the website to see that the items had in fact been returned. They issued a store credit. However with no intentions of ever shopping with this store again I would like to see the money returned to the original method of payment as the store credit will not be used. It's as if a return never took place, I made contact with Fashion Nova as I'm paying on items I have long since returned and do not feel it's right to continue to do so as again I have no intention shopping with this store. They have received their products back and I received nothing in return as the clothing here does not fit. I did reach out and they were unresponsive, I received two emails that read like it was an auto-response. I am reaching out to the BBB to see if they can assist and mediate the grievance
Update they replied to the complaint and did nothing but post their returns policy as if I was unaware…that’s why I went to the BBB in the first place. Don’t shop here unless you know for sure these items fit and you vibe with the entire line of clothing because they take your money with no intention of ever giving it back if the items aren’t to your liking. Read moreA purchase of 2 pairs of jeans and a top had been made on Christmas day, but never arrived! On the 8th of January, a message was sent that the merchandise had been delivered and was on the porch, the problem, it wasn't on my front porch! After contacting Laser Ship the delivery company Fashion Nova uses, they admitted the driver had delivered it to the wrong address and said they would send him back out to retrieve the package, apparently, they never did! After no resolution there, I contacted Fashion Nova and was told an investigation would be done only to receive an email today [2wks. later] stating according to the shipping company, the package was delivered successfully! The end result, NO Package NO Refund! --- This was in the email sent today Jan. 25th, 2021 --
