I was sent on a wild-goose chase trying to find this theater from the other two AMC theaters in Burbank (16 and 8?) on one of the hottest days of the year. It seems to me like they sent me wandering in the wrong direction on purpose as some sort of a vindictive act of ageism. I definitely got the OK Boomer vibe from the people I dealt with. I still don't know where this theater is located, and I only found the other two while looking for this one and the larger one (16?). There is no signage in the parking structure or shopping area or maps pointing out the location of ANY of the AMC Burbank theaters. Even Google maps doesn't show the location in relationship to other retail stores. How does one work for Burbank AMC and is incapable of giving directions to the other theaters?! Even Ross and Macy's employees claimed ignorance too. I never would had driven out this far, but two of these theaters were the only two theaters showing a movie I wanted to see. It was obvious I was suffering from walking around in the heat from them sending me in the wrong direction. They should had apologized and offered to comp me for my next movie or something. Or at the least, gave me...
Read moreWe’ve been A list members for years now. We go to the movies every single Thursday it’s our family routine. Today we were harassed by the person taking the tickets. Saying we couldn’t go in because my son (10 years old) didn’t have a picture ID. I explained to the staff member who’s name is Oliver that we, his parent have ID’s and we’ve never been asked for our Son’s school ID especially since he’s a child. She was very rude and called over a supervisor named Talisa Smith. Ms. Smith had the same unintended in customer service attitude as Oliver. I explained our situation, told her we were there every Thursday for years without any issues. She said well that’s our policy and you can pay for a ticket. I told her we already pay for a monthly membership. Again, no customer service, not empathetic to our situation or even say I’m sorry this is happening we can let you go this time but next time he has to have a school ID, nothing. There was no regard to us being A list member or that fact that my son was a child not an adult we were trying to “smuggle” in the theater. We were going to watch Moana 2. This was a horrible experience for what is our usual...
Read moreIT's okay. I guess modern theatres don't really excite me like they used to. for some reason. There are just too many better ways to watch movies these days. The refreshments are incredibly expensive of course. But you kind of expect that these days. Just don't buy it. You don't need that stuff to enjoy the movie. Eat at a restaurant before hand. The seating is nice. You don't have to put up with Bob's fat head in the way. It is stadium seating. Parking can be a pain in the butt sometimes because the inside garage only has so many spaces. These spaces are for the entire outdoor mall area which includes nice restaurants, and quick bite restaurants like Chipotle and other stuff. I went here for a free premiere I was invited to awhile ago. The theatre is underground so don't expect any cell phone service. You also have to enter though an outside mall area and walk up steps. This might be an issue...
