34$ FOR NOT ALOT
YOU WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR PARKING.
The staff were very nice and helpful.
The sampler plate is not even worth it.
I came here from a tiktok recommendation. Everyone was saying the sampler was 6$- 7$ for that price I'd say absolutely worth it.
However the sampler plate is actually 13$ with tax. And for what you get Meh. You get 6 mini tacos on a plate. They are about 2 bites each.
Like if you're trying the sampler as like a cheap meal alternative, ABSOLUTELY NOT worth it. Which I saw alot of people online boasting it for. On its own it would not fill you up itd be more of a quick snack.
if you're getting it to try everything, then sure. Which Is why I got it because I tend to be very picky about my food and like to give stuff a chance before fully committing.
I GOT THE OG SAMPLER (they have 3 kinds)
My biggest issue with the sampler is that literally everything tasted the exact same. I would not be able to tell you just looking or even tasting it what each item was supposed to be. Honestly I wouldn't really order a full size of any if the stuff on the OG sampler.
The other sampler would be the vegan options and choose your own mix & match.
For the mix and match one , they basically restrict you from actually trying all of the ones you'd actually probably would like more. So your basically forced to pick the OG which really wasn't anything special or the vegan option.
I also got 2 fish tacos which are 5$ each. The size of the regular tacos I would say is worth the price each taco. However The flavor was lacking so much.
It felt like they rely on the sauce to make it taste like anything. Which is really dull and boring. the regular tacos aren't bad over all. I just would have liked a little more flavor personally.
The hibiscus drink was absolutely amazing and so was the Lemon Limaeade.
For as good as the drinks were , the lacking impression of the food leaves so much to be desired.
Also side note.
If your like me and like to try new spots Tiktok is a great place to find cool spots in LA for good eats.
However Just be aware that alot of creators , even the smaller ones are paid or compensated with free gifts for positive reviews and their time and creativity to make content ads that to the untrained eye may not look like a targeted advertisement.

Read moreGuisados, you sweet, sweet thing of beauty: you have finally made it out to the San Fernando Valley! Honestly, this seems like a somewhat odd location for Guisados (Burbank slants a little less hip than Guisados' normal clientele), but I don't think anyone should be complaining. I went a few days after they opened, and I was very pleasantly surprised that all of the employees seemed very on top of it. No confusion at the registers (except by the customers who were clearly confused by the Spanish names of the tacos), food came out fast, and everything was clean.
As with other Guisados' locations, everything up and down the menu is great, but my personal favorites are the mole poblano (sweet, spicy, nutty complexity elevates chicken in a way that makes me forget it's my least favorite meat) and the cochinita pibil (shredded braised pork in sometimes super spicy sauce). I'm also a big fan of the pescado. All of the aguas frescas are great, but I'm a sucker for horchata (and it's HOUSEMADE).
Plan to eat 3-4 regular-sized tacos depending on how hungry you are, or get the sample platter of 6 mini tacos if you want to try a larger variety.
At some point I need to make it back for the breakfast tacos, which I believe are only available here and at the downtown LA location. I will be back,...

I come into this location often and always order the Cochinita Pibul level 1.
I received my Togo order and started eating outside, I took one bite of the taco and immediately it chocked me because it was so spicy. Tastes more like a level 10. I come back in to see if the cashier can exchange me for another taco or the same taco with an actual level one spice.
Immediately he started arguing with me about how well it comes hot and I told him I eat here plenty of times so I know what the level 1 tastes like. He continues to argue with me saying I have to buy another taco and they can not give me the customer service I deserve.
I asked to speak to the manager and he refused saying the manager told him they can not help me. As I was walking away because he wouldn’t help me he aggressively smacked his hands as if he wanted to fight.
I have never in my life dealt with this kind of ignorance and rude behavior especially from this location.
I will not be back. If you have an issue with your order know that Guisados does not care and will argue with you...
