I just had THE WORST experience EVER at the white center papa murphys. I go in to get our $10 Tuesday pizza and I order a Chicago style with no mushrooms and half no sausage. They tell me they can't do that. I asked why. The girl behind the counter says, you can't tell which half is which when we braid the crusts. I tell her, "all you have to do is mark the top crust before you braid it" (which you would normally do after its braided anyway). She says "my manager says we can't do it." I said, "this doesn't make any sense. Why?" She says again, "my manager says we can't". This whole time she's talking to me with her back turned to me while she making another pizza. She never once came over or attempted to connect with me. She just keeps making the pizza as if I'm not there. So I say, "so you're telling me, the customer, no and you don't care." She repeated "my manager says I can't." I asked "Is your manager going to fire you if you make my pizza?" She kinda stuttered, "well no." I said, "so can I please get a pizza?" She replies, "I have to listen to my manager." At this point I'm beyond ticked so I asked to speak with their manager. She says, "she'll be in tomorrow." I told her I'm not waiting until tomorrow. I'm going to speak to somebody about this NOW. I asked for their district managers number or owners number and she tells me she can't give out that information. I started to shout that she'd better give me some kind of contact information and her coworker grabbed one of their take home menus with the customer service number. They didn't even care that I left upset. As someone who works in customer service it mortifies me to see this type of behavior out there. If you live in Seattle, don't ever go to the White Center...
Read moreUsually, pretty nice service. Mostly consistent product. It's a heck of a lot better than most chain restaurants in this area. BTW: Don't order garlic as a topping on your pizza: they put on so much it is inedible and revolting to smell. I love garlic but I won't be able to eat it for years, after my last experience here.
Update: For the third time in the past 2 months, I've gotten a rancid salami. I have no idea what is going on with this place but I don't think it's safe to eat here as they are clearly not following health guidelines. The pizzas are no longer consistent and are sometimes inedible. I had to drop 2 stars.
Update: They are selling rancid food, yet again. Even with no toppings - just crust, cheese, and sauce - it is disgusting and not fit for human consumption. The manager and general staff need to be fired before they send someone to the hospital.
I had given this place a solid 5 stars for many years but over the past year, something has really changed. Avoid this place, for the sake of...
Read moreI highly don't recommend this place. I went and bought 22 pizzas from this place and during the time I was waiting for them I leave the place to come back so I park my truck on there lot. I just left for 20 minutes when I come back my truck was gonna I thought it was stolen. I went inside the store and i ask to the female that was inside the store and ask if she call the towing company well she said yes. She was totally not professional after I got there business they still freaking call the towing company that I end up paying 300 more to get out my truck. I have pass the word to my locals business and the whitecenter blog and burien blog to not get business from this crappie place with a horrible...
