i gave em an extra star for the fond memories..
they have a menu online that doesn't show prices for ANYTHING then they have a drive thru with yet another menu that doesnt show the prices for anything (this should be illegal) i should have went through and ordered a bunch of food and then said "oops i can't pay for it maybe tou should POST the prices" but i didnt because i am better than that.. so instead i called to ASK the prices and was greeted with a long automated message stating business hours and no prices, but was not given the option to speak to an employee. its not like they were buisy its lunch time & the parking lot was empty..
what is the logic behind this? yall switch the prices regularly and dont want to update the stuff? the price different depending on who comes in? its not a 5 star restraunt where the patrons are so wealthy that they dont need menu prices, its a freakin hillbilly chipoltle or moes.. how hard would it be to list the base price of each of the 4-6 items you offer and the small upcharge for the 2 things you upcharge for?? this is sloppy and bad business practice. (i own 2 businesses) and although i know that i can afford to eat here, i am not going to go somewhere without knowing what i am going to be charged until i get to the register. some people like to know what to expect. this is shady business..
im assuming the parking lot was empty during lunch rush for a reason.. its a shame, i used to LOVE this place but that was years ago, maybe the owners kids took over or something.. learn to run a business and maybe you wont run it into the ground 🤷♂️ constructive criticism from a fellow business owner & former patron. i dont think i will he returning here again unless they get some integrity and become PROUD of their menu & fully display the prices.. god forbid someone ask for nutrition facts 🤣 its 2023 get with the program.. vegan substitutes, nutrition facts, low carb/diet options.. give the people what they want.. start with MENU PRICES..
1star for poor business skills, has the halth department been in there? if they cant do 5 things right then they probably cant do 10 things right.. this place has been around for years, but i dont see it remaining around much longer.. it will decay and die with the rest of the things that...
Read moreI've been to the joshua location many times and absolutely loved it. Was in burleson for work and decided to stop in. The ladies there are extremely rude, blatantly ignoring customers, then having an attitude when they finally speak to you. I also didn't realize how slowly you could make basic brisket nachos until I went here and it has to be some sort of record.
And the brisket itself was disgusting. It was covered in carbon, dried out and just overall burnt. Tasted like it sat on the burner all day, unturned.
I don't know how there can be so much variance between the two locations, but Burleson should absolutely take note of how joshua performs because it's completely and totally different.
If you want to try mojos, I suggest it, but take the drive out of...
Read moreNot for the weak minded. If you are like me, when you pull up to the window, because the menu is no longer visible to you, your goldfish brain forgets what a burrito is and the pretty lady has to walk you through your order like it's an ESL class. The food's great though, so even when the ol noggin forgets you wanted salsa the cilantro lime flavor keeps you from feeling jipped. Also, once in a blue moon you will get a small piece of an additional cookie with your complimentary cookie. I believe it's a signal that whomever was taking your order thinks your childlike lack of object permanence means you will squeal like a happy toddler when you see it. Because of this I always wait until I get home to check the bag and avoid the emberrassment of doing...
