So, long story short. If you have no VR/gaming experience but would like to learn. This is NOT the place. Customer service is not their strong suit.
My husband just left this business, he left a negative review, I'm watching the last minutes of the VR game for our son. I assume the employees did not know that was my husband since I arrived after they purchased the game time. The employees read the negative review out loud and at the end one employee said. "How's that our fault"
My husband gave up on the training (couldn't figure it out) and sat down, employees were either looking at their phone, playing games themselves or talking to others. We paid for 2 VR games but no one came to check up on him or care to notice he (my husband) wasn't on the VR.
Edit: They checked in on my husband about 30 min into his game time, we paid for 1hr each but only successfully used one.
Edit after reply from Desh: 5 employees in the building and the one with the game controller in hand asked if everything was alright after we had been sitting for 10min as the only customers there. So yes, after 10-15 min of trying he gave up, sat down. Then 10 minutes the employee playing games spoke up. So after 25-30 into his hour game he left. My son has always had a great experience here and will continue to return so your victim comment was really a far reach, but thanks for your concern I guess? We just know not to use any equipment unless we have hands on tutorials which we know can't be taught here. Thank you for the refund but I would of rather you kept the money since my review said we successfully used one purchase. Our experience was just that, our experience, but the way your reply reads says...
Read moreI am reviewing this establishment from the perspective of an adult, and how my experience was. I will preface that for boys aged 7-15 this is probably heaven, and I’m sure parents who want an afternoon without their peri-pubescent kids this place is probably a godsend. The pricing is very cheap at $6 an hour for a non member, or $50 a month unlimited child care.
Majority of clientele are rather obnoxious, so I would encourage minimal interaction with others, however the more insufferable of them are in the console section, so the pc section is pleasant enough. As expected the equipment, and the section was dusty and had a lil dorito dust, but was bearable enough to turn a blind eye to as the place is kept reasonably dark. The decor is appropriate to the establishment, but the place was not decorated by a professional by any means.
Something I found annoying as a short term customer is that the games on the computers are not updated at night. I really feel like everything should auto update at night rather than need be updated by clients. Also I noticed if you sign into your own steam account, you will have a wider library than the culmination of your library and the default library of the base customer, not sure how that works but it is...
Read moreRented vr, no instructions, games didn't work. Not coming back. Waste of money. These other reviews must be paid for.- In response to the owner, your post reply shows your attitude towards the engagement in the store, from your point of view? Sitting down playing games talking to me across the room is checking on me? Good for your business that you are able grow. I didn't ask for a refund, and I allowed my other party to continue playing for the duration of the paid time. Don't get mad at my honest review. I told you up front I didn't know what to expect and never played all before I paid and also saying do the tutorial is not instructions. Clear somethings up as well... Your customer service or lack there of needs improvement and trying to belittle my review shows wonders. Appreciate that. Good luck to your business and your attitude...
