Order: Bahama Mama, Peanut butter cup (both smoothies) Chicken Bacon Ranch , baked lays.
Bahama - bitter taste, obvious. Multiple sip test. Obvious sign of bad fruit. Peanut butter - very watered down with ice, hint of peanut butter. Multiple sip test. Chicken Bacon Ranch - Mediocre. Manager - gave refund for smoothies (which is only items I requested that for, only reason this isn't a 1 star review.)
Been to multiple Tropical Smoothie locations but this one is far below standards.
Long Version.
Walked in with my wife. Weren't greeted. Team member was cleaning. Understandable. So I go wait by the register with my wife for about 3 mins waiting for her to come over. Door dasher walks in and she greets him immediately goes to the section and gets his order together and gives it to him. Well, that's messed up but ok. Then I notice she is chewing gum. I think that's not allowed but I don't know the regulations and FDA so not my place to say something. Order the items listed above. Wife gets the Bahama mama I get the Peanut butter. She tastes it and says it's bitter. As I'm sipping on mine and wondering why I can barely taste anything but ice. So we swap. Wanting to confirm that it isn't just a mishap or something. We do this 2 times. Coming to the same conclusion. As I've said, I've been to multiple locations. Never had the issue. I could have bought a bag of ice, filled the cup up and added one spoon of peanut butter and had the same flavor and saved 3 dollars. I bring this up with the manager. She is friendly and nice. Understands what I'm saying and tell her that I don't want the smoothies because I'm not trying to get free products. She issues me a full refund on the smoothies. In the span of this time of tasting the smoothies, talking and getting the refund my Chicken Bacon Ranch comes. I'm hungry so I accept whatever L I get from the rest because people are behind me and I got a refund for the smoothies. Overall, I'm not coming back, I'll drive 20 mins out to Fort Worth location where I know quality is better and customer interactions below manager level is good. Read moreAnyone that has visited this location and dealt with poor customer service, its because it starts at the head!!. Today I visited this location and placed an order specifically asking for No Black Beans. I received one of my items with black beans and politely returned it to the counter to advise them. The young teenager that took my container walked away and came back and questioned me on whether I was sure or not that it had beans because it didnt look like it had been touched. As if I returned my food for fun? After having to physically prove my order was made incorrectly by ripping my quesadilla apart he walked away. We could audibly hear him throw the food against something or kicked something in anger. I then requested the manager to come to the front. Before the manager could make his way to front the kid stopped him trying to do damage control. I could see his dramatics in the appliance reflection and he even tried to remove himself from my view while he talked to the manager. The manager (The African American with the cowboy hat) never came to see about us as requested and went the opposite way and made the following comment, "About to make me act a fool in here." Completely inappropiate, disrespectful, and most importantly, unprofessional. The manager even asked us if we were okay or offer anything for the mistake. This is not the first time we have witnessed this specific manager exhibit this type of behavior. Previously it was the way he was speaking to an employee. There was a young man and young lady both also working and unfortunately they both looked meek and intimidated the entire time we were there. Read moreThis was my first time coming to this location. I love the smoothies and food but this location has absolutely terrible service. I went through the drive through and the girl who toll my order was super soft on the intercom. I asked if they could repeat what they said because I couldn’t hear her. She got louder with an attitude, then proceeded to be softer after that with me continuing to ask her to repeat herself. When I got to the window she handed me my phone then asked me what my order was. There one only one car in front of me when I got in line…. I told her my name on the order then with me holding my card out for her, not looking at me she mumbles cash or card. Then waited for me to say card, still not looking at me. She gave me the card reader and walked away. She came back and took the card reader then closed the window. I didn’t go anywhere because I didn’t get my smoothie. She open the window and said “Did you forget something? You didn’t get your smoothie?” I said no I didn’t, she walked away then came back, didn’t say anything, stuck my smoothie out the window, I grab it said thank you and she just shut the window never looking at me once after walking away to get my smoothie.
