First time ordering from this restaurant. The delivery was quick and well packed (no spillage). The fried rice that we received seems to be rice soy sauce and egg which isn't the worst thing in the world but could definitely use some work. The lomein is lomein for sure. A tad more spice and it would be a really good lomein. The orange chicken was different than any orange chicken I've had before (not bad, just different). Sauce to chicken ratio was good. The HONEY CHICKEN is absolutely amazing and if it were the only thing we ordered it would have been a raving five star review. The pan fried dumplings are also very good and were a great starter for our meal! The last item that we ordered was the hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup needs something... I am not sure what it is missing a key flavor that i have grown accustomed to in this soup. My wife stated that the soup tastes as if it is a hybrid of wonton and hot and sour. This restaurant has just opened and I look forward to our next...
Read moreWe've been coming to this cozy and quaint location for almost 2 years now, and I will say we've loved it. Very nice selections to pick from with having tried almost everything twice, if not more. The price to portion size is very reasonable, and the food is tasty and cooked to perfection about 95% of the time (nobody's perfect). Service is always great, fast, and with a smile. Beverages are available as add-ons. Limited seating of 2-4 per table with 3 waiting seats. Always clean and tidy and can fill up quickly, just like the shared parking lot. Highly recommend for those quick lunches, date nights, call-in for pick-up, to-go or even catering services. MSG is used, but lightly as I've never had any ill reactions being one that is sensitive...
Read moreReally wanted to love this place but seems pretty typical "Chinese" for Texas. Service was great, didnt take long and price for portion good. Moo shu was ok but pancakes were quite dry. Unfortunately there were several bitter vegetables in the moo shu - can happen when veg cut up too far ahead or low quality tinned veg purchased. The low mein was awful, overcooked and boring. Sesame chicken was great flavor but low quality fibrous chicken a turn off. Truly hope this is not representative of New York restuarant Chinese. So much wonderful Chinese on west coast that I guess we were spoiled. Even in small towns on I5 corridor, had the best little family owned places. Guess we just...
