The Wendy's at 270 NW John Jones Dr, Burleson, TX 76028:
One Star is more than the crew from last night 08/02/2024 ever will deserve.
We got to the empty drive through and SPECIFICALLY asked them to make our full order fresh With fried chicken sandwich which I know it takes at least 5-7 minutes to make. They handed us our order in exactly 4.5 minutes. With NO RECEIPT. I asked them : How is it fresh when the chicken by it self takes more time than this? The window clerk's response was: "I'm not sure". Me: Did you drop it fresh? Clerk: "Yes". Me: How long it takes to cook a fresh chicken patty? Clerk:" I don't know". Me: Well can you ask? Clerk: "I guess so". Comes back after a minute and tells me with an attitude " It takes 5 minutes and It has been 5 minutes".
Fine I'll give you benefit of the doubt.
I park in the parking lot to check my food to find out everything but the nuggets was cold, old, rubbery piece of junk where the sandwiches were cold to touch. No steam. and the cheese was not melted at all.
So I go all the way back in the drive through waiting and waiting for cars in front of us. At the speaker: " we were just here and ordered fresh food and these are not fresh". The clerk: "The nuggets and one sandwich were made fresh..." This got my blood boiling ya'll! Like what a piece of jewel you are! After having to argue with her that I'm holding the cold sandwiches in my hand you liar! How are you lying to my face with the evidence in MY hands? I asked for the manager and I head another voice in a pissy tone saying : "Second window" and hangs up! We get to the window after the cars in front of us finally move and I get: "give me the two sandwiches that were not made fresh." I told them listen I want the whole order fresh I've been waiting in line because if your stupidity and now my food is all cold. and I decided to record the whole thing. and they didn't want to be in the recording so FINALLY the manager shows up and tells me: "I can help you but you have to stop recording" I'm like what do you mean? she tells me she's going to call the cops, closes the window puts up we're closed signs up and starts serving people behind us from the first window!
Now I've worked overnight for four years so I know the struggle we were the 3rd busiest store next to an emporium mind you. I had lines wrapping around the building at 4 am and we still served fresh food because that was actually beneficial to keep the cost and waste down. ESPECIALLY when the customer ASKS to make the order fresh like how much clearer than this it has to get? But we never did anything like this being short handed with only 2 people in the store and on the weekends...
What we encountered last night was pure "I don't give a S%$#" Stupidity, disrespect, horrible peoples skills and zero problem solving behavior. I'll be making a formal cooperate complain and I'll make sure that this experience is shared in all the channels.
I spend my hard earned money and I expect the product to be what it is advertised as. that's my right and your responsibility

Read moreMy daughter and I went thru the drive thru Monday night about 11:30ish. I ordered a 6 pc nugget,med fries and large sweet tea. The lady asked if I wanted spicy nuggets and I said "No." She repeated my order. Then she asked if I wanted anything else and I said "Yes". My daughter then tried to order a #3 with a large Dr Pepper. There was about a minute of silence before the lady said "Hello?" And my daughter repeated her order. She gave us a total of $10.53, which we both thought was a bit low with what we ordered. We get to the window and she repeats the total. And I asked her if that included the 6 pc nugget,fries and tea and she said ok and then came back with a total of $14 and some change. She handed us the Dr.Pepper and a bag with the #3 and a 6 pc nugget....no med fries and no sweet tea. We asked about the med fries and sweet tea and she looked confused and said she didn't understand. She gave us the fries and tea. Although she seemed pretty annoyed at us,even though she was the one getting everything messed up. Before we left the parking lot we checked to make sure everything was right. That's when realized she had given us an unsweet tea,instead of sweet tea. So we went back to the window and told her about the mix up,and she said they didn't have any sweet tea. Something she could've told us that when we first ordered it. The entire time,she seemed completely annoyed by us. Read moreYeah so I went to this Wendy’s in Burleson on John Jones. Well I went there 6 different times and every time they got my order messed up. They messed up so bad they forgot to put the actual patty on one of my cheese burgers. Other times I’d ask for just ketchup and they add mustard. Another I asked for no pickles and what do you know, pickles on my cheese burger. Their fries were also cold. I was in line for 20+ minutes and I was the only car in the drive through. Still to this day I go to Wendy’s hoping for good customer service and a complete and CORRECT order. I am very disappointed with that specific Wendy’s. On a side note the burger I just received tastes like fish. But who knows that may just be me. I’ve never gone to any fast food restaurant and had this much struggle to have my orders correct. Oh I also just remembered I ordered a combo meal and I didn’t receive my Coca-Cola. I don’t understand how a place could just be so terrible.
