From the friendly greeting when I walked in the door and the back of house staff cleaning things like the president was due to arrive. Restaurant is state-of-the-art; from the clean comfortable booths to the HUGE flat screen HDTV.... the self serve soda station with touch screen user interface and the single capacity Large SPOTLESS restrooms which smelled like cleanser- Nothing Else! The place was closing soon when i got there but i never felt rushed, even in the last 5 minutes as i took my sweet ass time finishing my (to-go) meal! The pizza.... excellent! I have been to other stores under the pizza my heart brand. The original is in Capitola by the Sea, on the water(right nest to the Fog Bank -a bar I used to frequent on Sunday nites for a top notch blues jam. )The pie at this (Burlingame) location is considerably better than the original. Maybe it's because the employees at the Capitola store are looking at the waves, longing to be paddling out to the sweetest spot, even if just to sit and wait for one that never crests. They'd rather die than punch a clock, but, ya gotta eat right? And, i wouldn't wanna try white gloving that little slice joint hole in the wall. The mere thought is terrifying. But the way i saw these guys in Burlingame cleaning EVERYTHING so thoroughly .... EVERYTHING! Shoot, I'd practically eat off the floor after they were done! On a scale of 1-10, i give em a 10+. Good job guys (and gals). If i were to have any complaint, it wouldn't be that they wouldn't make me ideal on some of the remaining slices since it was the end of the day(hey, I had to try), that would be selfish. It would have to be that the whole place was So frickin COLD! You could hang meat in the joint! The restroom would have kept ice cream from melting! But, that's the worst i can say about my...

As a teacher of four-year-olds, I’ve had the pleasure of taking my students on field trips to Pizza My Heart in Burlingame for the past three years, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make the trip memorable for our students.
Each time, they have generously opened their doors early, before the restaurant opens to the public, so the children can enjoy the space and settle into the large, comfortable booths. The kids have time to wash their hands and get ready for the fun ahead, all while feeling relaxed.
A special shout-out to Guillermo, whose kindness and attentiveness make all the difference. He’s been a warm and welcoming presence to the students, teachers, and parents on the trip, ensuring that we have everything we need. Guillermo also takes the time to teach the children about how pizza dough is made, the ideal temperature for cooking pizzas, and how many pizzas are prepared daily at Pizza My Heart. These hands-on lessons are a great way to engage the kids and help them understand the process behind their favorite food.
The highlight, of course, is when the children get to create their own pizzas. It’s a hands-on, interactive experience that the kids love, and the smiles on their faces as they eat their creations speak volumes about how special the trip is.
I’m incredibly grateful to the staff at Pizza My Heart for their dedication to the community and for providing such an enriching and fun experience for our students. Thank you for making every visit something the children...
Read moreOrdered a pizza for pickup. I was told 1 hour to pickup. Went in the store and they said gave my pizza away to someone else by mistake.
The girl and guy had a full on “you gave his pizza away” conversation in front of me, without even acknowledging me. No apology. Just, “well your pizza will be hot when we make it again”, from I assume the manager girl. They told me to come back again in “10 minutes”. I came back in 15 and the guy that gave my pizza away said “do you want any cheese and peppers”. I shook my head, grabbed my pizza put my hand up, and stormed out the door.
Not a “hey I’m really sorry” or “here’s a coupon discount on your next pizza” or “I’ll credit you back some money in this pizza” or anything.
So sad that we are in this age of COVID where restaurants are going under, and this one can stay open even while giving out your $25 pizza to someone else. I bet so many restaurants would love to have our business but this one could care less.
Safe to say I won’t be going back and safe to say I’ll tell many people I know about...
