Though I live in the D.C. area, in earlier years I traveled to San Francisco a number of times. Somehow I became aware of the Wine Stop. Every trip I made to SF afterwards featured a stop there. In the past twenty years or so I have occasionally purchased wine from them via the Internet. Consistently over the years they have featured a superb choice of wines, both current and older vintages. Finally, a place for young trendsetters or established Burlingamers to flock to and mingle together while imbibing yummy wines and artisan beers. Not to mention you can purchase and cork or bring your own wine and cork it in the bar...
