Bojangles — Restaurant in Burlington

The big guy who took my order at the drive through was rude. I asked about items 1 through 9 on the menu because they weren't showing. I could only see 10 through 17 so the automated AI voice got me an associate. The fellow sounded like a lady at the speaker but I realized later at the window it was a guy. Anyway, I ordered a number 9 meal wit an extra sandwich, both with cheese and extra pickles. For my side I ordered bo-rounds and a large sweet tea. I also ordered a number 14 with two sides and a large sweet tea. The sides were slaw and fries. The window tou would normally pay at was closed and there was no sign telling us to pull up to the pick up window. There were 3 cars in front of me that had already been there for about 15 minutes so this location definitely took the fast out of fast food. They also gave me spicy chicken biscuits with cheese and no pickles, and didn't give us the fries that were supposed to go with the #14 meal. The cajun chicken sandwiches that I was looking forward to were replaced by scrappy hard, skimpy chicken biscuits. I was going to go back but decided to write this review instead of risking an argument with someone who was already very rude to me. Bojangles in Irmo SC is the best and the one at I-40 and Hwy 321 in SC too. Both very good food and excellent service. I was so excited when they built this location close to Walmart. My family and I have been here several times and on each occasion the staff is rude and the food is never fresh! Decided to give them another try after leaving Walmart around 2pm one day since there wasn't a line... it didn't matter ordered a 2 piece white and Shannon gave me a big thigh I opened my box showed her the thigh she got an attitude and told me it was a breast. Then puts another thigh in another box to give to me smh. I said ma'am these are clearly the wrong chicken pieces. pull around it will be 15 mins on white meat well bring it out to you. So In the beging there was no white meat ready just tell me that don't give me something I didn't pay for and get an attitude with me! I pull around them decide to go in because I had other food in the car which would be cold cold clearly in 15 mins so I took it inside for them to also remake only to walk in to hear them say "Were gonna make her sit out there and wait" Sooooo Rude and the Worst customer service I'm not mean person but that day they tested me. My son experiences the same service here I wish someone would train everyone all over again. Ankowledge your faults and just make it right for the customers we only want what we paid for and fresh hot Bojangles! Terrible service. My order wasn't ready for about 30 minutes after the pickup time they gave me and a full hour after I placed my order online. The order was for curbside pickup but I had to go in the store for anyone to know I was there despite checking in on the app. No one was at the cash register to greet customers or ask what their orders were, what were we waiting on. While I could understand having to wait for chicken to cook in a drive thru order or dine in, I don't understand having to wait an additional 30 minutes for a pickup order that was entered 30 minutes prior. And some other lady was waiting for 2 orders of bo rounds for 20 minutes+. She ended up asking for a refund and left.

I finally get my food and hour after ordering and after waiting the 30 minutes after my designated pickup time. When I get home, most of my Mac and cheese was inedible. It seems the styrofoam cup was put on a hot surface of some sort or was just otherwise disintegrating. I gave the food a 4/5 because everything was tasty with the exception of the styrofoam-laden macaroni and cheese. I'd give service and atmosphere no stars if it were possible.
