This is one of the worst customer experiences I've ever dealt with. Last night I went to pick-up a Door Dash I had received for a College student in Elon. It was almost 10 P.M., I just recently started Dashing for supplemental income. It was my first delivery from Dairy Queen. So I pulled in the Drive Thru, told them I had an order. They told me they were unable to give me the order at the Drive Thru, that I would have to walk-in to get the order. I responded that typically most fast-food close there dining and allow pick-ups after 9 and 10 at night. Trying to see if I could get a exception. However another store employee said that upper Management had made this Policy. So I said I understood, but I would be contacting them later to discuss this. I pulled forward, I was unable to get out of the line bc it has that guard. As I was sitting for a few Minutes I noticed the Female at the Drive-thru Window was not giving anything to the customer, and they were just talking. Then the Employee started stretching her head out past the window smirking, and laughing looking towards my car the first couple of times I ignored it but by the 4th time after a good 5 minutes I Thru my hands up and looked directly at the girl like what in the world is going on she's acting so foolish. Then still no food or drinks were handed to the car at the drive thru. I hear giggles, and voice from the car ask for napkins, I'm unsure if they knew the Customer, but they were definitely just chatting, it was blocking me exiting the Drive Thru and delaying my delivery. Finally the car pulled off. I parked entered the store to get my food, which should have already been ready as they were not busy, I had been stuck in the drive thru behind only one car for over 5 Minutes if not more. Finally, the car pulled off, I parked, and entered the store, I was waiting, I decided to call and update the Customer, about the issue I was having not being able to pickup their order as I Normally am at other local fast food chains and that I feel as I was dealing with poor customer service, however I would be there as promptly as I could. The lady running the front sat my order in front of me I was going to grab it, when she questioned my phone call asking me was u making bad comments to the customer. I told her I was explaining the delay, and said yes I did tell them that I'm having a Customer Service issue as it seems. That's when she snatched the food out of in front of me and said she couldn't give me the order. I was not trying to have a confrontation, but I said how are you going to do that when the Customer has already paid for that order. She said I have the right to refuse giving an order. I called Door Dash, and the Customer. The Customer kept apologizing for what happened she said this is not the first time, she's had a similar experience with the store. I felt really bad for the Customer who actually is an Elon Student studying. She was not able to get her food because of the...
Read moreI went their last night and picked up supper from the drive thru. I was charged for an item that I did not order and this was corrected at the window. I then had to pull forward to wait. When my food was brought to me, I discovered I was missing an item and had to go in and wait further for it to be provided. While the sides were hot and fresh, the sandwiches were not. My cheeseburger looked as if it has been there since the afternoon and was inedible. My wife found her chili dogs acceptable but not exceptional. She's been sick to her stomach all day, most likely from the chili dogs. Looking at the receipt again, in awe of the price vs. quality and service, I discovered that I had been charged for combos which I neither ordered nor received. Succinctly, this location offers:
Poor and incompetent service. Prices that are exceptionally high when considering quality and service. Food ranging from poor to just plain nasty and inedible. Apparently, free food poisoning.
If it were possible to give this location a no star rating, it would be higher than deserved. I would not recommend nor return to this location if it had the only food available in the midst of...
Read moreSave your money and time! I visited the Huffman Mill Rd. location several weeks ago to get some ice cream. I was told that they had no chocolate(what?!?!?) at the moment, as their machine was broken. OK. I understand, stuff breaks, that's the world we live in. I just visited again, and I was told the exact same thing. This time I had to say something, so I asked about it, saying I had been there several weeks ago and was told the same exact thing. Their response was, "it's gonna be a while. We have a different company that services the machines". Well, I would hope that the 16 year old in the drive-thru window isn't the one servicing your equipment! I understand that another company would be doing repair work, that wasn't the question. You are an ice cream shop! No chocolate for months at a time in peak season? What a joke. I won't be back. Ever. I, for the life of me, can't get my mind around this. Why wouldn't you call a third party in to get your equipment up and running? Someone is really dropping the...
