I have eaten here two times but believe it deserves a good rating and more attention. It does get fairly busy and I have frustratingly walked away on weekends/dinner time to eat my usual sushi (also A+).
This place sells rice bowls dubbed as bops which they top with choice of protein or veggie dumpling (or duo combo) and you can also choose veggies (cabbage, corn, carrots, jalapeƱos, scallions) to top it off. They also have sauces - gochujang, spicy Mayo, signature sauce, and a sweet and sour, the latter of which I havenāt tried. Iām pescetarian though I do eat meat rarely and Iāve tried the beef with the dumplings and theyāre delicious. Today I got just the veggie dumplings and they were just as awesome as last time.
My only stipulation is that the rice isnāt crispy which is to be expected with something called a ābop.ā The rice is made perfectly but Iām not skilled enough to eat it (not the stores fault imo) so I usually finish my bowl with a spoon. I also wish they had a big bottle of iced tea to drink with the food. The soda selection is fine though. I also wish that each of the menu items was maybe 50 cents to $1 cheaper or we get a little more protein and a little less rice.
I havenāt tried the corn dogs/mozzarella dogs but Iām curious about those and will probably try one next time.
Finishing notes - the flavors are unreal. The spiciness from the sauces and the sweetness that come with them, the cook on the proteins (the dumplings are amazing), the explosion of flavor and the amount of rice you get leave your full and satisfied. Really awesome.
Overall strongly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTaste: Corn dogs for fun? YES. The corn dogs here are NOT your regular corndogs. Although you can buy those here. (But why would you? That's boring) They are a step up from what you are used to. I would recommend the ramen dog because the ramen bits add a complementary texture to the outside of the dog. I would think the flamin' dog does that as well but I havent tried it yet. My ģė§ gave good reviewsš.Cupbobs are also a new trend. It is like ė¹ė¹ė°„(bibimbap) in a cup. If you like korean fried chicken, I recommend the sweet chili cupbop. Otherwise if you like classic kbbq beef, the KBBQ one is the way to go.
Service: When I first came, I didnt know what to try and they offered a sample of the sweet chili chicken. The main cashier guy with curly hair recognized me many times. Everyone there always seem friendly and happy.
Atmosphere: KPOP MVs play in the background while you wait and the "love at first cheese pull" sign is the perfect photo op! Your next insta awaits

Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot bad, but not amazing. Giving a 4 instead of a 3 just because there just arenāt good Korean corn dog places in MA and this is probably one of the better ones. Cheese pull was 10/10! I got the potato dog with half cheese and half sausage. I personally wish there were more potato cubes on the corn dog and that they were larger cubes. I also wish they give the sauce in a cup on the sideāI asked for spicy mayo and they drizzled some on the dog but not enough and it kind of felt like I was just eating stuffed bread. Maybe try asking for more sauce? Not a bad place to grab a snack if youāre hungry...
