We arrived the hostess was typical. We sat down 12 min before we even saw our server. 17 before she came to our table. My mango margarita I ordered had 0 mango in it. I asked her to please have the bartender add mango & reshake it. We order $48 steaks, $20 crab cakes, $44 for fisherman’s platter w/ the clams, everything is fried. I didn’t want fries. So I asked for veggies. Why would you put fried stuff on a heavily sauced plate? Why not put the saucy veggies on the side? Maybe because the carrots were disgusting unpeeled & only chopped in half.m! Then I waited 10 minutes to be able to ask for tarter & cocktail sauce. Food was mushy. I get the steaks aren’t supposed to be steak house quality at a seafood place but come on I’ve had better steak at chili’s 🤦‍♀️ My daughter was only one that enjoyed her meal. Lobster tail w/ salad. But they didn’t cut the shell open for her. It was over $250 w/ tip which honestly I’ve never stiffed a server but her performance was subpar. We tipped our 20% but she didn’t deserve it! She barely spoke to us. My husband will tip more if you keep his soda full but he never got asked if he wanted a refill, his coke sat empty. Last time I went to Legal Seafood was on my 25th bday. The food, service back then were phenomenal. I know because I worked there & it was the only way I could afford to eat there! My 52nd bday is coming up & we happened to be in Massachusetts this year. We could afford to eat there if we chose to. I spoke so highly of it & we were so underwhelmed!! If you’re gonna charge that much go back to service & food being your top priority Legal!! So...

The food was great and fresh. However our service was awful. We went on Valentine’s Day, which I get can be busy and hectic. We were a table of 5 for lunch. Our server (an older woman) was very curt and rude. It was almost as if she was upset that we were asking multiple questions about the menu, she would say “all the side options are listed, look at the menu” to my elderly grandmother. When we would take a second to confirm with our grandfather (who doesn’t speak English) if that side was ok, our server would look away, roll her eyes, and rush us. Stating “I can come back” when all we needed was help with alternative side options. Which if I’m not mistaken is her job. She had no problem complaining about how busy she was due to a coworker calling out last minute (which was in my opinion unprofessional and unnecessary) we did not mention, nor complain about a wait. Everything was handled in a timely manner. The only thing that was evident was that our server was so upset to be working and made it known. Perhaps find a different profession to allow the servers that want to be working during a pandemic to have the opportunity to work and give great experiences to their patrons. Also, she up charged all our drinks. Will never come to this location again. Go to the Lynnfield...

My friends and I wanted to have a good time after working hard and having a rough day at work and decided to stop by this place since it seemed to have really good reviews and the food pic items looked amazing, well it wasn’t so great after all. The waitresses were standing so far away from us like they did not like us or something, we almost had to yell at them for items. The one waitress that took our order felt that she fight need to write each of our orders down, so she said she memorized them all and I guess we were all impressed cause she even repeated them back to us, and she actually got the orders right, but the food was so bland and without taste. We kept running out of drinks and kept asking them to bring us refills on our drinks and they always seemed so rushed like they were very busy, but the place was actually pretty empty. So poor service, bad food and on top of that when we asked for each of our receipts, the one waitress that memorized our food orders down was nowhere to be found, and so we had to ask the manager to bring us our receipts, and she went back and try to guess what each of us had and got it wrong three times. If the waitress had written everything down, we wouldn’t have to go through this. We won’t be going back...
