The pizza was supposed to have extra cheese it didn't, the waiter asked if we wanted a cup of cheese to add to it when he came back 10 mins later. The pizza was cool at that point and cheese is supposed to be baked on. I hope they train them to offer the cup of cheese because that makes no sense to me. Then manager came out and started talking about 5 feet from the table saying the pizza had extra cheese. Which my issue is come look at the pizza then talk don't start from where you can't see and talk like you know. What they did is they mixed cheese with the other ingredients on the house special which would be the extra but didn't have a base coat of cheese. Likely because they were rushing due to it being crowded. The manager did discount the order but still that is not good service. The offer to take it back and remake it leave you wondering what they might due to it since they have such poor customer service. Imagine you go to get a new car and they ordered the color you want and you go to pick it up. You get their, get the keys open the door and their is no fabric on the passenger seat. You mentioned it to the salesman who offers to bring you fabric to drape over the seat... which should be attached at the factory. So he leaves to get a manager who walks out and can't see inside the car but start saying the car has fabric on the seats. They did offer a solution here but the customer service was terrible, which stems mainly from management in training and leading by example. Come out, look, listen, then offer your solution it seems more personal and like you care. Read moreI am so disappointed in my experience with this establishment this evening. I placed and paid for my online order (a large pizza) at approx 8:14pm and was advised it would be ready for pickup at 8:35. At 8:45pm, I was advised by the host that it would be another 10 minutes or so. About 5 minutes after receiving the update, I was then advised by the manager on duty that the order actually hadn't even been started!! She let me know that they would start the order right away and I would receive a coupon for my next visit. At 9, I asked the host for an update on the time and she initially let me know that I would be just a "few more minutes" when I asked for a more specific time she advised me 10 minutes. At that point it would have put me at an hour that I've been waiting on one pizza and one ranch. I asked for a refund and she let me know the manager would be out in a second to help me. Well, the manager did come out with a printed receipt of my refund and sent me about my way.. didn't even bother to address or acknowledge my concerns. I am VERY disappointed in the service I received and am unsure if I will be supporting this establishment anytime...
Read moreI’ve eaten at mellow mushroom in other areas and this was by far the worst. The service is UNBELIEVABLY slow!! I’m talking more than an hour to bring out a pizza and a calzone. After an HOUR, our waitress returns to say, “Your food should be right out.” 😳 The staff were inattentive and the service altogether was piss poor from the 2 hosts, to the waitress (Victoria). Who takes your order and leaves you for an HOUR without checking in?! We observed the manager with matching work ethic. She walks into this little separate room where we were seated near 1 other table of people. There are literally just the 2 tables occupied and she walks over to them only to ask how things are going; looks at us and walks out. It felt blatant because it WAS. She then proceeds to walk back and forth past us; seeing us without food and ignoring us. To top things off, after an hour and 10 minutes the MANAGER then comes to say, “I just checked with the kitchen and it’s going to a bit of a wait.” and hands over a $10 off coupon!! Stick a fork in me! Steer clear of Mellow Mushroom in Burlington, NC. Just keep driving and make a right at Chick-Fil-A!!...
